@dpunk80 ....Most everything has been covered and I can’t say it any better. The only 2 things I’d stress are 1.) IF YOU DO THIS, DO IT FOR YOU!!! That’s the ONLY way it will stick. 2.) Take this seriously. Posting roll is so much more than just putting your name and day count down. We are all addicts. Addicts by nature tend to not be trustworthy so when we say we won’t use nicotine today, we mean it come hell or high water. Understand too that there are a lot of vets on here who might ride your butt from time to time. It isn’t to break you down. We work together here to get through this one day at a time. You are never gonna be cured. You are never gonna get to a point where you have it all figured out. Just accept that now. I started this 268 days ago. Best decision EVER!!! My number is only a PM away if you need anything.

Glad to have found this support group. An associate pastor at my church, who is also a member of this forum, recommended it to me. Even though I quit vaping, last day was October 13, 2019, I hope can still be an accepted member.
I’ve gone stints smoking cigarettes, chewing tobacco, dipping, then the vaping and have quit before but relapsed   2 or 3 times.
Want this one to be the last.

Welcome @dpunk80 We are glad you found us and our in our Jan. group! Post early every single day. As @jsjohnson said, we will support you, but first and foremost we will hold you accountable. Exchange numbers with people in our group and with the guys who have been doing this a long time. They have amazing wisdom. Get involved. Think outside of your own quit and it will help. Proud to quit with you today. (PTQWYT)

Welcome @dpunk80. Just as Judaculla said, we take KTC seriously. Every day, WUPP (wake up, piss, post). EDD (every darn day). Replace that first dose of nicotine with a promise to yourself as well as your brothers and sisters here to remain nic free for the day. I promise, life after the first week is way better. It’s rough at first but if you remain dedicated to your quit, you will succeed. Trade numbers with some people in the group. Keep all your personal details but form a bind with someone that you can text a daily promise to. That way, if you come up missing, he or she can hopefully keep you quit. Congrats on quitting. I’m quit with you today. Day 16!!!
100 days 1-21-2020, 2nd Floor 4-30-20, 3rd Floor 8-8-20

Welcome @dpunk80! You are still in the toughest part of your quit, so we are glad you are here. It’s pretty simple, we just Wake up, Piss, and Post Every Dang Day (WUPP EDD). Reading the boards, reaching out to other quitters and trading your digits (phone number, but only through Personal Message and never the boards). Also make sure your drinking plenty of water and repacking the craves with exercise. Other than that, post daily in your quit group, which is January, link found below. We saved you a spot...
