"Taking a break from KTC?"  Of course, totally up to you.  30 year Cope addict?  My guess is that you've tried to quit before.  How did that work?  I know the newness and the sparkle of quitting has gone.  Now the real suck starts.  I also know KTC can be intimidating at times.  I was careful of my involvement and what I said in the first couple weeks because I subconsciously wanted to keep the door cracked...I wanted an out.  As time went on, I realized how dangerous that was.  I had left the door cracked in all of my previous stoppages and they all ended in failure.  This place is about quitting dip.  If you want to quit, buy in, get involved, make contacts, and I can guarantee you will have success.

Stick around if you want to quit.  I'd be more than happy to forward you my number for extra accountability.  Hold the line man.

It really comes down to how bad to do want to quit? Are you looking ahead and causing yourself stress and feeling overwhelmed? Stay short-term. ODAAT really does work. Keep it simple. Focus on what helps your quit and ignore the rest. Remind yourself of the reasons you started this journey. If you haven’t, make relationships. Who are you talking to in hard times? Shoot me your digits if I can help. You can do this.
I wonder what your status is today?  Quit, or not?

Maybe you're quit, but most likely your "break" from KTC and accountability was a planned cave. That break was totally weak on your part. Many quitters suggested you reconsider, but you think you know best, huh? 30 years of your best thinking kept you sucking on a big ol' can a day, while this place has the collective wisdom of hundreds or thousands of years worth of quit. They said post every day, you said kiss my ass. Now they're still here and you ain't.

If you were here posting, taking care of business first, then taking a break for the rest of the day, we'd all know where you stand.

Keep your promise for the rest of the day and repeat the following day. Check your messages as fellow quitters will reach out to you. Exchanging digits is normal but only through personal messages and never on the forum or here in the Intro section. Those relationships will be huge is keeping ou quit. Quantity over quality. Partner with fellow quitters that really care about your quit. You can do this and we are here to help. Focus on quitting one day at a time. Worry about tomorrow when it comes.
