I often come back and look at my intro, as well as the new introductions. I noticed that there is always a group of Guests viewing the thread. I remember those days of anonymously lurking around the site. Taking the jump seemed huge. To the guests reading this, do it. Sign up, post an intro, find your quit group, and get to posting roll. You’ll never regret the freedom you’ll gain. Some days will be easier than others, but every day will be worth it.

@WB5052 what are you waiting for? Here is the link to start posting roll and taking your life back:  https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=16725.0 . We wake up, piss, and post our promise to stay nicotine free for the day. Only worry about quitting today. We will deal with tomorrow when it comes. Make some connections with fellow quitters. Exchanging digits is normal and encouraged but only through personal messages and not on the forum or here in the Introduction area. Quitting sucks for a while and then it doesn’t . Be patient. It really gets so much better but it does take time. Reach out if I can help.

Never got involved. Just created the account.

@WB5052 did you get plugged in to a group when you joined back in May? Or did you just create the account and never get involved?

Glad you are back. Let's put all the stoppages behind us, do it the KTC way this time and enjoy the freedom that comes with being QUIT.

It’s beyond time to quit. I’ve come to realize the true hold that this nasty habit has on me. I hate everything about it. I’m tired of wasting money, of spit bottles being everywhere, and of lying to myself that it is not an addiction. I kept telling myself that I could “quit anytime I wanted”. I made an effort in May, when I originally joined this site. But I never fully bought in and eventually fell into the “I can just have one” lie. The habit seemed to come back stronger than ever before. Today would have been day #147. But there is no reason to look back. Tomorrow will make day #1. As a rather introverted guy, taking the step to actually post gives me a stronger feeling of commitment and responsibility.

Prove it.  Post a day 1 here.

Make a promise to quit and keep your promise.

I quit with you today!
Hey you can’t be an introvert and win here. You need to drop that and become part of the team if you want this to work. I too was like you but once I dropped that wall it all became clear. Now I am 230 days quit with the help of KTC and all the people I LET IN to support me. You should do the same and share digits. Its not weird its how you win. You want mine digits to help you pm me and they are yours. Stay strong, stay QUIT and God bless.
