@Dustan ,

These guys gave you everything you need to quit this vile substance.  Follow their instructions and you too can be nicotine free.

One more thing, luck has no bearing here.  You either quit or you don't.  It's as simple as that.  It is a choice and luck does not factor in that choice.

What's it going to be?  Are you going to quit or are you going to let nicotine rule your life until your agonizing death by cancer?

The choice is yours.
If you want my digits, just ask and they will be yours, but I expect yours in return.

Accountability is a statement of personal promise, both to yourself and to the people around you, to deliver specific defined results.
Brian Dive

Do not be complacent about your achievements and not to strive for continual improvement when you get to the top. As soon as you let success go to your head, you sink into following familiar patterns and play it safe. In other words, you risk losing your edge.
Roy T. Bennett

You need anything, ask.  You feel strong, help.  This quit is for you but we got your back.

Boy this is going to be a long road but it is time and we can all do this!

Who's this we you speak of? There's no we until you go to the quit group linked below and post your promise not to use nicotine today. We see enough one-post-wonders to know your words are meaningless unless you back them up. As you said, now is the time, but you let it slip through your fingers. The way to start is to jump in head first and not look back. Or keep stuffing that addictive, cancerous poison in your lip until it kills you. Wait long enough for that and sooner or later it will happen.
@Dustan Did you make a decision yet? Just like Zeus said WE can't start until YOU start posting!! It's up to you to start and all it takes is that first step forward. Make that step so WE can get started, WE will be here when YOU are ready.

As 9f today I am 4 days Copenhagen free. The last two days I seriously thought something very wrong was happening to me ,I googled endlessly and nervously , and this very morning I wondered if it could be quitting?! And sure as heck I've had almost all symptoms reported by other folks and the main page . Boy this is going to be a long road but it is time and we can all do this! Good luck everyone.
Welcome to KTC @Dustan. I moved your post to the Introductions section here.

You found the right place to be. People here have fought though everything I'm sure you are experiencing and more. I'd encourage you to go post roll in the April 2021 right away. Posting roll is your promise to yourself and this community that you will not put nicotine in any form into your body for 24 hours at a time. We do this everyday since the present is all we can control. We worry about quitting tomorrow when tomorrow comes.

Keep exploring the site and reading all you can. We quit hard here. We take failure off the table each day when we make our daily promises. We also don't wish anyone luck since luck (and hope) have nothing to do success here. If you are a man of your word and can keep a promise for 24 hours at a time, you will be successful here.
@Dustan  MNx gave you the link to freedom. Wake up and post your promise first thing everyday to stay nicotine free. Repeat the process the following day. The more effort you put into your quit the easier the process. Focusing on quitting one day at a time is huge. Don’t worry about quitting tomorrow, next week, or next month. Let’s just quit for today. Make connections with fellow quitters on the site. Exchanging digits only through personal messages is highly recommended. Those relationships will pay huge dividends when you hit a bump in the road and are struggling with cravings. You can do this and we are here to help.
