I have the same old story of how I started dipping. I went straight for the hard stuff, Copenhagen. I threw up the 1st 5 or 6 times it went into my lip, but I was bound and determined to keep this addiction alive and well for the next 35 years. I was a can a day before I knew it. Fast forward to 12/31/11. I was sitting in my living room with my Wife, Son and his girlfriend and spouted out I am going to quit chewing Copenhagen for my New Years Resolution. After an hour of laughter and side bets between them all I got online and found this site. I posted Roll read all the intros and HOF speeches and realized I am not the only one going thru the total hell of nicotine withdrawal. I believe and taught my son that all you really have in this world is your word, I gave my word every day for 102 days (minus 2 or 3 days I could not get on line.) along with the other April quitters and made it thru the tough times. I know I have to promise everyday for the rest of life, but now know I do not have to have a dip in to Drive, Golf, Read, Shit, Cut grass, shovel snow, cook on the grill, play softball, fish, hunt, rake leaves, or anything else I did with a big old fat lip. Thanks to all on this site. I will remain here to help and encourage others to stop this disgusting habit. Thanks. Skeebs0615
