Quote from: totallyinshane46 years old and started dipping when I was 10. Really never committed to quitting until recently and took my last dip on the 29th of Feb. Holy Shit this is more than I was bargaining for. Got bad enough today that I started googling and came across this site. Looking forward to not doing this alone.
Everyday is a fight. And what a glorious fight it is. We fight, we win. We do the same thing tomorrow. Affirmations, and daily posting of your promise is amazing. Something so simple could be something so amazing.

Welcome to the club!

Just for today, Self.

Shane,
The like button doesn't keep us quit.
Posting roll and keeping your word keeps us quit.
It doesn't matter if it's for three days or three years.
It's the only thing I've ever seen work.
What do have to lose?

Read everything you can on this site. Especially when having a bad craving. This site helps a shit ton.
This is my first real quit and the people on this site have made it easy by sharing their experiences. Any thought that pops into your head feel free to post it on the boards. You never know how it will help someone else out

Welcome to freedom and congrats on finally manning up! Here's how we do it here...we get into our quit groups, with your quit date being 2/29, you'll be in the Pre-HOF June 2016 group. Click here to find it: topic/11536813/76/#new

Once in, post roll first thing in the morning, every day, no exceptions. Go to the latest roll post, and follow the instructions. Roll is your price of admission on this site and is your promise not to use nic in any form for that day. Repeat each day...NO EXCEPTIONS! Get to know your quit brothers, exchange #'s and get involved. Read everything you can on here. Get your tools in place and keep them close...seeds, gum, mints, whatever you need to kill the cravings when they hit. We do this one day at a time, every damn day. Welcome aboard and get it done.
