Understood. Roll everyday, keep my word, and no do overs.

I have made the determination to quit. I have had none since around 11 o'clock last night and I'm still going strong.
Daniel, glad you're here. But you haven't posted roll yet. Why the trepidation?

I have a very similar story.

2 basic rules here:

1). Post Roll Daily here: topic/10291235/
2). Honor your word

Get involved on here and do a lot of reading. It helps. Online chat helps.

Shoot me a pm if you need a number.
Don't forget #3. Be active in the KTC Community.

3 year stopper here. I get what you are going through. Now I am quit for 111 days and feeling more freedom than when I stopped for 3 years.

Read, read, and read some more. This will only work if you do the trifecta:
1). Post
2). Honor
3). Active

You are a Sultan. Get involved and make some friends. Glad to be quit with ya

Adding my two cents.

Danny, you have first got to make the determination that you've quit. if you haven't come to that point, you're wasting your time and ours. If you've come to that point, and assuming you're a man of your word, like Spitstickler says:

Post Roll (do it EARLY); promise yourself and the Sultans you won't use nicotine that day
Honor your word
Build a community of quit-brothers around you

Stay quit. Stay Strong.

Not Now; Not Here; Not in My Lip.

Welcome Danny. After you post roll like Spit told you to do, start by reading the Welcome Center to get acclimated with what the site is all about. Read read and read some more. Spend as much time as possible reading every scrap of information on here. It will save your life if you want it badly enough.

Glad to have you in the Sultans, now get your quit on and get ready for the suck. We're here with you, use it.

Hey everybody
« on: June 17, 2014, 03:58:00 PM »
I quit once for 4 years. Then I was driving one night and was having trouble staying awake. I had the bright idea of trying a dip.
Surely it would help me stay awake. And it did. It was supposed to be only a single dip. Just enough to get me home. This
was a several hour drive. Then I thought "No use in wasting this can. I'll finish it then not do it anymore". Well... That single dip
was all it took and I was hooked again.

This was 6 years ago.

Now it's time to quit again before it's too late.

Hello folks... I'm Daniel from Virginia. Hopefully I'll have some guys in here that I can lean on. I know it will be hard. Extremely hard.
