Same quit day as me. Today was the roughest day so far just as far as intense cravings for me. Brain fog has been pretty steady too. Keep going TJ we can do this!
Hope you are doing well! We are over 100 hours nicotine free! On our way to 100 days!

Thanks everyone! Still holding strong. Got a big challenge ahead this weekend. Guard weekend up at Camp Ripley, MN. 18-20 hour days out in the cold. A chew would be so glorious! I have a feeling my mouth is going to be bloody from all the sunflower seeds i will go through.

One day at a time!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can do this. A chew would not be "glorious" It would be a huge failure , a slap in all our faces that are rooting for you, and result in you falling face first in the pile of shit you have begun to climb out of.
What he ^^^ said. Chew never did a thing for you brother. The faster you can get that through your noggin, the better your chances of success.

it was controlling me.
Welcome. You don't read too many new quitters speaking of THEIR ADDICTION right off the bat, with words like this. Congrats to you, it sounds as though you get it. Don't ever stop fighting this addiction because it will never stop fighting you.

I'd put a fresh dip in right before bed and sleep with it in that's how bad it was controlling me.
We don't hear that very often but I understand completely. That was me for probably 30 years. It got so bad that I often ate with a dip in my mouth. It will suck until it doesn't anymore. I promise it does get better.

Nice job getting on roll today TJ! Take it one day one hour or one minute at a time. Whatever you need to do to get through today. The days get better, I promise.

Time to turn the tables on nic TJ. Don't look at it as a struggle. Look at it as gaining your freedom back one day at a time (ODAAT). You don't need nicotine. You never did. All it was good for was relieving the withdrawal symptoms from the last time you chewed.

Now you can go to bed without sucking on cancer turds. That is giving nicotine a 'Finger' . You've come to the right place. Head over to March 2016 and start posting roll with them. If you need help, ask. If you want to know why we post roll and what it means, ask.

This place can save your life if you let it TJ. ODAAT works for me and it can work for you. Get your name on roll and the support will come flooding your way. Quit on my man.

ALMOST 72 HOURS
« on: December 07, 2015, 02:18:00 PM »
Sitting at my desk in a heavy fog right now. Friday the 4th of december at exactly 4pm I took the last chew i will ever chew out of my lip. Skoal Berry. Been a tin a day dipper for 10 years. I'd put a fresh dip in right before bed and sleep with it in that's how bad it was controlling me. Just decided on Friday that enough was enough. This weekend wasnt too bad but now that I am at my desk, alone, the cravings are really coming on strong. I have some of the Jakes Mint stuff with me and that seems to be helping.

one day at a time!!!!!!!!!!ugh
