hey Bedubs,

Welcome to the real world. So you wanna quit? Keep reading here, make up your mind, look in the mirror at the nicotine addict (yes you're an addict), quit for yourself and not your wife or kids or you'll blame them for the way you feel!

Take it like a man, do it for yourself and take the quit responsibility on yourself. Put your balls in the wheelbarrow, cruise over to the September quit group, post roll, keep your word (your word is good right?), get to bed and REPEAT the next day.
All you gotta do is quit today. Don't you think about tomorrow cause we don't worry about tomorrow until it gets here. Just do today, everyday.
Quit all nicotine, this is a no nicotine quit group. No nicogum or patches right?
You can do this. Read all you can here and be quit today. Tomorrow never comes, today is a gift, that's why it's called the present. Quit today, flush it all, burn your nic bridges and pilings, leave nothing that can be rebuilt. Post roll, get quit with the September group.

If I can, you can too. You're not a pussy are YOU?
Keeping my jaw and tongue...I like them.

Hey all, this is my first time posting here.  I just joined yesterday and spent some time reading through the site.  I've been dippin' for close to 20 years - that scares me right there - and I've "quit" a couple of times but always end up starting up again after a few months off.

Anyway, now with two kids under 4, my 41st B-day coming up, and the fact that this is a stupid thing to do to my body I'm ready to quit.  So here I am.  I went out last night and bought a couple of big packs of cinnamon gum, finished my last dip about 2:30 yesterday afternoon, and I told my wife about this site.

The best part so far was that I didn't stay up late last night to drink, game, and dip so I woke up refreshed this morning and took the dog for a 2 mile run.

Hey welcome...

We should be in the same quit group, so I guess that makes you my quit brother... I have only been dipping for 3.5 years but its time for me top stop before I go back to the US... It's awesome that you are quitting... you need to as a parent because you have to set a good example... Expect nothing less than the tough love, and don't you DARE quit on me, we are brothers in the quit.
Never assume that the simplicity of the site is too simple to be effective.

Make a promise to yourself to post roll every morning you wake up. This should be a part of your morning routine. Never miss a day.

Get numbers and PM your number to people. There will be times that a text or call will make the difference in staying quit. Support and you will be supported.

Use this intro as your journal of your quit experience. The human mind forgets pain. Record you experiences in overcoming your vice so that you can go back and be reminded you never, ever want to start over.

You should begin to have the blinders of addiction lift from your mind. You will see that the tobacco industry is a dirty, evil, sham! They take your money and give you what in return? Nothing of value. That's what you get. It is a negative return on your money, time, relationships, health, functionality. You are paying to be a slave.

When you quit, you now have to work for your freedom. I would rather work for freedom vs. pay for slavery.

Again welcome and Knock Nicotine out of your life!!!!

Bed,

Best decision of your life. You are in for a wild ride, but it's worth every second of it. If you really want to be quit (for yourself, not because someone wants you to be quit), then utilize every tool that this site offers, honor your word, and you will be quit. Not stopped, but quit.

First...click here, the WELCOME CENTER, and read every letter.

"Posting Roll" is the backbone to how this site works. Everyday you will make a promise to your quit group that you will not use any nicotine at all for the day. This is a zero-nic site. No gum/patches/anything. The easiest way to learn how to post roll 100% correctly is to watch this very short video.

Once you've read the Welcome Center, and learned how to post roll, click here to find your September 2012 quit group and post roll for today. The reason for September is that you join the quit group in the month that you would hit 100 straight days of being nic free.

That's it. Do post roll every day, keep your word, and you are off and running to being free from the can.
