Honestly I have been working long hours in a hospital and thought that yesterday was the 28th lol I did in fact quit on the 27th of July! No worries!
Time to check in here but no time to post roll? You need to do some reading and learn how we quit and why we do what we do, it's important or you will be sucking on the can again in no time. If you think I'm a dick and don't understand your situation you are wrong. I care more than you do if you come back with excuses. Pay attention, post roll, survive today and soon you'll realize you got a tremendous support group here.

I know that it will be a long road to success but it is one that I am more than willing to ride for as long as it takes.
It takes one day at a time, every damn day (ODAAT, EDD).
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Welcome copekiller, Quitting is the best decision of your life. It sounds like you understand the fact that you, me, and every swinging dick on this site is an addict.

Read the Welcome Center. It will have several useful pages to read. The most important of which in my opinion are the posts which describe what roll is, and how to post it.

I'll summarize by saying it is a daily promise that each of us here at KTC make each day to not use nicotine for that day. We quit one day at a time around here, and we tend to do it first thing in our day, that way using nicotine is off the table for that one day.

Once you give the welcome center a once over, head over to your quit group, which based on your quit date is November.

Welcome to freedom. Make your promise and lets beat this shit today.

Welcome. I see you joined today but have a quit date tomorrow. Why? There is no better day to quit than today! I also used chew to quit smoking. Yep, I'm a dumbass too. I'm on day 6. I quit today and every morning when i wake up. Read the welcome page, learn the rules around here and post roll call. Then participate. I have only been here 6 days and I have never felt more welcome. Get in a chat group. I can help you with that, but you have to quit. Quit today! It's a good day to be QUIT!
Good spot on that quit date CW. You can't quit tomorrow, it never comes. We only quit today. It's great that your quitting at a young age but, your odds of success are considerably lower than older addicts. That's not saying you can't do it but you need to be extremely committed and follow the plan very closely; post roll early EVERY day, keep your word, become active, listen to the advise from those that are further along on the journey and remember the suck so you aren't tempted to repeat.
Now go and flush all your stash, put your name on your roll and start getting numbers of your fellow quitters.

Failure is not an option, I must quit.
« on: July 27, 2014, 06:02:00 AM »
Hello all, my name is Dave and I am a 22 year old male who has been a slave to nicotine for the past 5 years. I started on cigarettes and decided to quit them by using smokeless tobacco. I have tried to quit numerous times to no avail however this time is going to be different. I am tired of scrounging around for bottles to spit in. Tired of drooling chocolate colored spit onto my chin and compulsively wiping my face hours after. I am tired of telling my fiance' and family members that I am going to the bathroom only to sit on the pot and dip. I am tired of accidentally spilling a fresh can of long cut in my cup holders/seats/floor boards. I am tired of the panic of "Oh Sh*** I think I left my can on the bedside table for all to see. I am tired of driving by every gas station and automatically pulling in to get my fix. Most of all I am tired of the thought that with every dip I am killing myself slowly but surely. I am getting married this spring and am hoping to start a little family of my own, one that I intend to see through all life has to offer and I do not want cancer to ever take that from me so I here I am ready to quit. I know that it will be a long road to success but it is one that I am more than willing to ride for as long as it takes.
