Hi fellow quiters,
I am not back to fingerings the can!
In fact I haven't even had a smokey mountain yet today.
I have just been extremely busy at work and when I get home the wife gets mad if I'm on the computer and not doing family things.

sorry for not being on here daily.
Wake up, post roll and piss! It takes 3 minutes, do it on your phone, no excuses!
does your wife know you are quit? Being on her at a minimum once or twice per day isn't unreasonable.

I am here because I can't do it without KTC, missing roll one day, will turn into two, a week, a month. Then who is going to hold me accountable and support me?
Longman.....

Don't take this personally, but the way we quit here is DAILY. We post the promise, we build the network of accountability with fellow quitters, we honor the promise, then we come back and do it again. That is the KTC way. You're free, of course, to do it your way, but I KNOW the KTC way works.....

I quit with you today, but you have to be here for me to do that.....being here means posting roll, bubba. That's the way we do it here.

EDIT: Just saw your first roll post in January '17. AWESOMELY EPIC Roll post, bubba!! Proud of you. Now see you here tomorrow!

Tomorrow I'll get to doing my quit group deal and learn to better navigate the site.
Did tomorrow and 3 more tomorrows never come? Unfortunately some people aren't willing to put in the effort here. They'd rather take their chances and "try harder" alone. I hope longman returns and comes to know the success that we have here.
YEah.....he's back to finger bangin' the can. I once asked one of the big dudes that runs this place if we couldn't have some sort of automatic email through the system (we know most of their email addresses if they've been made public) to cajole them into coming back and posting a day one (or day whatever). But I guess that's not going to happen, at least not for now....

I'm glad that you found this place too. Since I've joined on Monday, I've received so much support- kind words when I need them and a kick in the ass when I need that too.
It's hard, so hard, but it's going to be worth it.
I'm right along beside you quitting!

Hello fellow quiters,

1st off thanks for the welcome!
Aside from that I'm probably now 50 hour into my quit and still being strong, there were some real strong urges today but the smokey mountain was just the thing to get me through.
I will admit I had my first "hulk rage" incident this evening. ...
I was in my pick up and the wind blew the door shut of the back of my knees which has happened before but this time I snapped back at my pickup like a dummy and punched the window. So yeah wedding ring on left hand breaks window. Sucks but I worked in an auto glass shop for 5 years so I can fix it myself but I feel childish for sure.
It will get easier I'm sure.
Tomorrow I'll get to doing my quit group deal and learn to better navigate the site.
Thanks again for the support and welcoming!

^^ Can and JB are spot on,
use your momentum and energy and focus it in your quit, get active on KTC, post roll, drink water and exercise.

Longman WElcome. Candy is right on, and one of the best quitters on this site.

The support is overwhelming. You have to POST roll every day, and give back, or there will be no support.

I belive you would be posting in the JANUARY 2017 quit group. Head on over there and post. follow directions, it is easy.

PM my if you would like my digits. Get to know your quitters in your group. Exchange phone numbers. Read the WIN in October 2016 from earlier today and see why we exchange digits here.

The support is great but you have to post roll. Otherwise it will dry up.

Will you join us today?

Welcome.

1. There is no such thing as Quit For Life. There is quit for today. Life is way too long but today we can do.

2. Make sure that you quit for you. Quitting for loved ones is great but rarely lasts.

Post roll in Dec 16, exchange digits and dig in. You got this!

Have been a can/2 day dipper for about 13 years. I quit for 6 months once before and for some absolutely dumb reason started again. That was 4 years ago and after reading the forums on here decided it'd time to quit for life. I'm 24 hours in and not doing as bad as I thought.
My 2 year old is driving me crazy, but he is the reason I'm going to quit so I don't mind.
