Welcome. I see you posted roll. That's great. Roll is the backbone of this site, and it's what keeps us quit. Posting roll, and the accountability that comes with it truly is the difference between this quit, and your past failed attempts.

NOW is always the best time to quit, and I'm glad you chose NOW. After 72 hours, the nicotine will be out of your system, and after that it's a mind game between you and your addiction.

Get to know the guys in your group. Trade digits. Lean on them when things get rough.

I won't wish you luck. We don't do luck here. Quitting is a deliberate action. It's not left to chance. It's your will, plus the support and accountability found here at KTC

Drink a lot of water. Keep your mind busy. Read, read, read here in the forums, and at the main KTC site. The HOF speeches are always a good place to start, as well as the other intro topics.

Don't let nicotine win.

Proud to quit with you.

Have been dipping for more than 10 years. Initially used it as a crutch to quit smoking, then did both for few years, then back to just dipping. Got tired many times and quit countless times but addiction always won. Now here I am. So what's different this time. One, my mouth is now starting to show sign of long abuse. Rough spots here and there, stains and bad breath. I now have a 5 month son who I want to see grow up. I just cannot go on any more, I have to quit. So my first day begins. I thought of starting on weekend so I do not succumb to office pressure but then changed my mind and thought of getting over difficult part first and hopefully by weekend my 72 hours will be over. I cannot wait a single minute more to quit, I cannot take another dip. So wish me luck!!!
