Gallant, where have you been?
We post roll every day, and this early in your quit it's so important to post early- WUPP- Wake Up Piss Post. You've been missing for a few days then come in and fill out the Get To Know you thread in Dec.... but you gotta start posting roll.

...this morning was the last dip...
The way I read this is that the guy is quit, but is a little confused just like I was when I first joined.

When I first joined, I thought Day 1 would be your first full day without nicotine. But the site says the first day is the day you decide to quit.

So, the way I read this is that he had a dip yesterday morning, and decided to quit - to have no more at all - but since he had already had a dip that day he would have to wait to declare a Day 1 - even though he wasn't going to have any more.

Whether I'm right or wrong - GallantIce - get your ass into the December group and post your promise. As long as you haven't had dip since that dip yesterday morning - this is your Day2!
Yes, I was going off the idea the first full day nicotine free was supposed to be the quit day. 'bang head'

Should I be in the December 2017 group or the January 2018 group?

And do you guys ever use that stuff like Baccoff? I've been chewing for over 25 years and was wondering if something like that would be helpful.

Cheers!
You'll find different opinions on "fake dip" here. Some are against some are for...most agree that whatever you feel comfortable and whatever HELPS you. I personally used a lot of Smokey Mountain wintergreen early on (I prefer it to Bacc Off flavor-wise). Still use it some but not nearly as much. But if you're comfortable with it by all means use it.

Will this guy be back? Dunno.

One thing I do know is that owning your decision to quit happens right now... not tomorrow. In addict world, tomorrow always breeds another tomorrow.

We'll see about this one, eh?

Congrats on making it to the group. You'll be joining me and a couple other misfits in the December 2017 group so head on over there tomorrow and join us in the quit. I'm just finishing day 5 now but I can say my headache cure is lots of water and trying to stay ahead of the pain with some Advil for the first couple days. After day three when your body is nicotine free the pills aren't as needed but don't be ashamed of a little vitamin I

Tomorrow will be my quit day. I just found this website, it could have been today but this morning was the last dip. Good thing I found this group.
Been dipping about 25 years. First a can a week, then a can a day. Recently started going over a can a day and realized this has to stop now!

I don't understand all the ins and outs of this site but I'm reading up to figure it all out.

p.s. how do you deal with the headaches?
