First off, Welcome!

Next, YEP on everything NoMore said. You have come to the right place to let the rage go. We have bitch threads as well as a quit group who really don't give a rats ass if you gripe or not. Mine didn't care and MAN have I griped and nagged since I joined. lol

It does get better man. People ask all the time how long does the fog last. Well the best answer is it is different for everyone. Just fill the void any way that you can nic free. Water, exercise, and read read and read some more until you are sick of reading then guess what .... Read some more!! The Hall of Fame speeches and the words of wisdom is some powerful stuff.

Stick with it, get with the system and try our way. It has worked for THOUSANDS of users before us and it will work for countless others after. Drink all the Kill The Can koolaid you can handle brother. I quit with you every damn day!!!

This is the place for your dip rage. A couple things that help:

Seeds, hard candy, jerky or fake chew. Anything without nicotine to separate the oral fix from the addiction.

Accountability and support from joining the May 2016 Quit group and posting roll (your daily promise to use no nicotine). That group of quitters is right where you are, and you can share ways to get through things.

Use the tools here, read for inspiration and knowledge. Try the online Chat (it can be empty on weekends, just check back).

Drink water, and exercise (within your current capacity). This will suck until it doesn't. But you can get through the craves and past the, over time.

'drool' So, I ended up going cold turkey after 13 years or chewing. I used either Copenhagen long cut, or grizzly wintergreen. I was admitted to the hospital on January 29yh for a severe pneumonia, which equalled quiting. Im home now, a little more mobile, and having some serious cravings, unfortunately my wife doesnt get it at all and thinks its like a pop, just put it down and walk away. Very very frustrating.
