Survived turkey day with no cravings. Had beers and wine and enjoyed the crap out of the day where i didn't have to sneak off an have a quickie. Good stuff. Oh yeah, deep fried turkey tastes AWESOME now. Always tasted good before, but soooooo much better now that i'm a a DFD!!!!

Just thought i'd share.

Spit out the last dip at 11pm on 21 SEP 12. Been nic free since then. Brother Mike turned me on to the site. Extolled its virtues. Seems to work pretty well, but it was MY CHOICE! I've gotten some Smokey Mountain, its good for those mental dip times...like traffic in Boston...ahhh yes....

Been on the can for too long. Started in college while doing military stuff. Been on it since. Kodiak was (notice the past tense??) my poison of choice. 2-3 cans a week. (i always lied to the dentist tho..."oh maybe a 1/2 can a week or so"). Amazing that in Taxachusetts (don't get me wrong, i love my state!) how quick money DOESN"T leave your wallet! Thats 21 bucks a week! Enough for an 18 pack of the good stuff! Keystone Light Baby!!! (i was kidding there).

So, yeah, sucked and all, but hey, i get a new 18 pack every week! But getting by, all seems well. Still rough sleeping thru the night, but i've had that problem for years now...may or may not be nic influenced!

Am i supposed to talk about me? I'm from MA, work fulltime in the Army, happy unmarried, with 2 beautiful kids who are the love of my life. One is my budding musician/actress and the other is a future Bruins Goalie (Yep, you heard it hear first!). Great kids, they were riding me to "stop doing the spitting stuff". Well, i did! Told them, they are happy and "helping" me with it! haha! but seriously they are great.

Okay, enough babbling, time to do something productive....like pick up dog shit in my back yard....

Great to have another masshole from the right side of the country! You're right, this place is amazing but it's virtues are largely based on personal responsibility and your honor. Grab some numbers from folks in December to shore up your quit and make your promise early daily. Feel free to call, text, PM, e-mail or send a fucking smoke signal if there's anything you need.

Way to make the best decision of your life. Remember that this QUIT is for you. Own it, be selfish with it, and make sure that you remember that you are doing it for yourself first (and get the joy and bonus that comes along with it that would be for your 2 children).

Nice job, and make sure you keep that word each and every day. Look out for your quit brothers, get numbers, and reach out when you need help.

Check out the quitters meets area to and get to know those who are closeby to you.

Be Quit.

Hey jeff,
I'm glad you decided to take your life back. I also remember lying to my dentist! It's time to bear down brother. Post roll everyday and keep your word. You can do this and everyone here can help.
