Well was going to send a PM but did not see the possibility to (as Justin mentions).
But may I say wow, you have stirred quite the pot in 9 excellent clean days. How many times in the past have you been able to make it this far? With the reactions I would say a very limited if never.
You have gone through the 3 days of getting the nicotine out of your system. That is great. Now its time to keep learning about what kind of person you are, and what you can be.
I have noted the speech, the words being used.....the confirmation that you drink (and possibly a lot). Well friend that is just as destructive to yourself as the nicotine is. I say now do NOT replace the nicotine with more alcohol, as that will lead you down an extremely dark path.
And as for the rage....guess what? It is COMPLETELY normal. What you are going through within the first 3 weeks of quitting, I have been there (albeit slightly), but in 4.5 years I have seen so much and it is nothing new and you are not alone or special for having it.
So for about the thousandth time mentioned, you can take what you can and leave the rest. Whether that means to leave the references to avitars or statements that just do not connect with you right now then so be it, as everyone uses them to initially help them self first and then to reach out to others.
But know this, giving your promise each and every day will teach you what the power of your word means, it will give you the strength to fight and be clean from nicotine, and if you see the way things are set, you have the ability to go far and learn as the days pass.
It is your decision, how will you proceed.
