Get your mind around the fact this is a fight for your life, and your sons life. If I quit at age 32 I'd be posting quit for 13 years, not 229 days. It's gonna suck until it doesn't, but living is a fair price for some bad days.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Nice job posting roll, read all you can on this site. Gems of wisdom are everywhere. Welcome! 'oh yeah'
Thanks....I found some Smokey Mountain and that seems to be "fairly close" to the real deal. It is still not quite the same, but it is helping me through today.
As far as pouches go i use "Oregon Mint Snuff Co."
but have used "Grinds Coffee Pouches" before

Jay, welcome to KTC. Read as much as you can here starting with the Welocome Center. Knowledge about this addiction is crucial to beating this. Most importantly learn how and why we post roll. Lots of help here, and support if you reach out. You made a great decision joining! Follow the formula here and you will be free. Looking to see your promise to stay quit today in Feb '15. ( I see you posted roll! Nice. Do that EVERYDAY and keep that promise)

Hey all - new to this site as of today. I found this by doing a Google search for "quit chewing". I'm 32 and have been officially chewing more years of my life than not (started when I was 15). I have 3 boys at home, all under 5 years old, and I do NOT want them thinking this is OK. My oldest has already started to spit when outside because "daddy does it". I've tried several times in the past, the longest being 3 months, but always end up caving in. I started in high school with Kodiak Ice, moved to Skoal straight long cut, than Skoal mint, and now Skoal mint pouches (I thought the pouches would help me quit, but I am actually chewing more as these are much easier to keep in my mouth without anyone noticing). I'm ready to be done with this and looking forward to conquering this journey.

Quit day was yesterday, 11/17/14 - I will always remember this day!
