It is a long uphill battle if you think "forever", that's why we quit one day at a time (ODAAT). I only have 9.5 hours to go (check local listings) and the day is over! The point is you and I can do almost anything for 24 hours, so make your quit about today, and today only. I know I have!

I too am a fellow ninja dipper and let the dead plant in a can control my relationships with my wife and kids. I got caught after I quit but the damage was still the same. Drink lots of water and get your wife involved in your quit as you will need her support. https://www.killthecan.org/community/spousal-support/

Your quit has to be your number 1 priority at the moment.

I was a fellow Ninja dipper who was recently outed in my Ninja ways (53 days ago to be exact), my story aligns to yours in SO many ways. I am here to let you know that if you commit to the quit get in and post roll every day. Looks like you have already found your way into the Pre HOF Dec group way to go!

For real this time - no more lies

This is Day 2. I have dipped since I was 16 and I am 28 now. I have did the whole off and on method for the last 6 years or so. I met my wife at Kansas State and made the promise to quit before we got married. I lied, and lied, and lied. We have been married for 3.5 years now and i have never fully quit. I hid it all the time. In my golf bag, in my boot socks, in my boots in my closet. Always somewhere around me to get that evening or weekend pinch. My daughter is a little over a year old and i also made the promise that my kids would never know that i chewed. Another lie. So here i am among all my lies finally ready to do it for me this time. I have read some of the info thats out there and i have to do it for me. My wife can't stand the lies anymore and who would blame her. Why would she trust me? I have a long uphill battle with her and my addiction. This looks like the place to be for the addiction side of things. Look forward to being in contact with all of you.
