Michael, it is an excellent choice you have made.  Everyone here belongs to a quit group and your group is January 2008.  You will find there a group of people that are also early in their quit.  Everyone in the January group will hit 100 days quit (we call it the Hall of Fame) sometime in the month of January.

You should head over there and meet everyone else that is looking to put the first 100 days of quitting under the belt and putting tobacco behind them.  Post a message over there and they will help you post roll.

Welcome!
Thats for the welcome. I joined the group and made it thru day 1. Its a long road ahead but with ur help and God on my side I know i can beat this nasty addiction.
That is the way it works. It is tough at first and gets easier as it goes along. You will not be sorry about your decision.

Hey
« on: October 18, 2007, 11:42:00 PM »
Hey guys my name is Michael and I have been dipping for about 5 years now. I first started using grizzly the 1st few months and then moved on to copenhagen long cut. I have been dipping about 1-1.5 cans a day.

I have started to noticed the side effects from this mess. I have high HDL cholestrol, aniexty at times, acid reflux, out of the blue dizziness while weight training and random heart palps.

Its time that I took a stand and got control of my life back. I want to be the old michael, who didn't have this terrible crutch!! I am tired of spending $5 on a can of dip and worrying when I would run out!

I hope to join a group of some sort. I had my last dip tonight and I am dead set on stopping.
