Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

...those words have come out of my month just about every other day for 23 years. Pathetic to think how many times I've said those words and how much money I've put into a habit that can kill me.

My name is Tom, I live in Colorado and there is no doubt that I'm a dip addict. My story is just like all the other ones I've read on here. Dip in all the time. Always planning the next dip. Making sure I have enough dip to last me through the day or my next project around the house. These thoughts have consumed my life and I'm sick of it. The last 6 years I've gone ninja. This has taken me away from my family and my wife. I hate myself for it. The time has come to kick this shit once an for all.

I'm convinced this site and the support from fellow addicts is gonna make this quit last. Failure is not an option, and I think KTC is the plan for me to succeed. The last tin is gone and there is no plan to replace it...
You've come to the right place Tom. Read up in the welcome center and then make your way to the April '15 quit group and post your first roll. That is your promise to yourself and all of us that you will not use any form of nic for 24 hours. Congrats and welcome.
Drink plenty of water and let your loved ones know the next few days are going to suck. The nicotine leaves your system fighting. You can win this fight though. Every second clean is a victory. PM me for my number so you can call on a friend when the craves get wicked tough.

If you are arguing a position you don't necessarily agree with but are playing devil's advocate, please spell that out for me. I'm not very bright and like to understand when people are sincere or not.
