After kicking the nicotine habit of chewing do many still chew non tobacco products like Bacc off?

I find myself still wanting a chew in mouth even though nicotine craving is gone. Habit of  chew in mouth I guess.

Everyone is different, I chew sugarless gum and eat seeds. I really don't want to chew the fake stuff because it is the same act as dipping without the nicotine. Do what feels right to you and be vigilant about your quit!

Eventually, you will probably want to kick the oral fixation to the curb as well.
Hey bro-- I dipped the fake stuff for a good 60 days or so into my quit. I don't do it anymore at all but I always had a tin of hooch or something just in case. But, I agree with Remshot... kicking that oral fix is going to be important to you at some point.
Agreed here as well. Still have several tins of SMC but have used any in a month or more. Was a good crutch in the beginning though.
I've found plenty of other things to put in my mouth.
I bet you have..... :o

What was told to me turned out to be dead on:
You tend to tire of the fake stuff and it just fades away. After some time, you may throw one in, but you don't crave it.

This has been exactly my experience. It was a handy crutch. Use it every now and then, but usually when I happen to see it. Don't NEED to use it now. Take it when I know I am going to be in a tough situation (around the fellas etc.)

I still struggle with the oral side of this, but usually there's a straw, gum, tooth pick, etc around
Ditto on the fake-stuff-crutch-not-much-doin-after-a-bit gig......but man, that FUCKING pole smoking smiley icon thing is just too fucking sick even for this web site!!!! 'crackup'

Proverbs 18:2

"A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion."

A Quit Plan: Do you have one?

CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit.
After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco. SportDad 1/13/05

Warm summer sun, shine kindly here;
Warm southern wind, blow softly here;
Green sod above, lie light, lie light.-
Good-night, dear heart, good-night.

Be silly, be honest, be kind
