Hey all, today begins my journey to permanently quit chewing tobacco. Im 40 yrs old and started in the 6th grade. I have quit a few times before and ended up relapsing. This time I will do it. I think this support group will be the difference.
Hey braque. You're right, this time you will do it and this support group will make the difference. Just follow the program, post roll each day and keep your word. It's worked for me for 52 days and I expect it's gonna work for 53, too. No reason to think any further than that at this point. Let me know if you need anything.

I don't see your name posted in role yet? What's the hold up? Get in there, show us you actually are a quitter. EDIT: Nevermind - I see it under support!

Congrats buddy, we will beat this bitch together. You need anything - shoot me a pm.
It's not going to be a walk in the park while you smell the daisies. It's not going to be that easy with your day to day life. I just have 1 question for you --- Can you quit for today and today alone? Don't think about tomorrow, don't think about next week, just think about today. Can you quit for today?

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. I'd be proud to quit with you!

Staying quit is what it's all about. Renew your resolve every day, regard your quit as your promise and build new bonds of accountability to make sure others around you see it the same way, keep rehearsing the reasons it matters to you and stay grateful. These things keep the Complacency Troll in the shadows.

You gave everyone on this site your word today that you will not use nicotine. DON'T FUCK US! Stay quit just for today. That's all you need to do. Any asshole can quit for one day. When you wake up tomorrow do it again cause you know how to do it now

I know the support works.

I've done it before, walked away, caved, and came crawling back.

Post roll everyday and keep that shit out of your mouth addict.

Here is a link to your group:

November Roll Call Group

Follow the instructions, and get some numbers from your brothers. If you need one, private message me.
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Theres a lot of people that come here, especially vets, that WANT to be reminded that they are addicts.-Tarpon 6/12

Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise.-Scowick 2/13

Here and now, focused on today, minute by minute, whatever it takes, I promise to all my bros and myself not to become a negative stat and stay quit!-krok 1/15

I want everyone to be quit. Even the assholes.-Probe1957 1/18

Ignoring history or erasing history fixes nothing and leads you inevitably down the same path.-69franx 04/30/2021
