Hi Everyone,

Just reached 7 days with no nicotine. I stop dipping on Monday 4/18 and hope this is the end. After the 3rd day i have felt a lot better and so happy to be rid of the that crap. Ironically, i was very ashamed to be a dipper and nobody knew (except my wife) for 10 years. Now I only have this board to tell.

I have been using the herbal chew like Smokey Mountain and Elict (zero nicotine). Since both are tobacco and nicotine free i assume that is allowed?
Post roll Every damn day and keep your promise to us. Additionally, make sure you fix your quit date. It shows that your quit date is in May of this year.

Roll call up bro, don't do this alone.

Welcome to the rest of your life brother. Today, we post our promise to not use nicotine every single day. Head on over to the August 2016 Pre-HOF Group and let's do this.
Tom, if you're seven days quit, you should be in the July quit group.

Stay quit. Proud to quit with you.

Congrats on the great start Tom! I used quite a bit of smokey mountain to help through the first couple weeks, but find I need it less and less. Replacing it with gum as I need to but the oral fixation is fading away pretty steadily. Keep it up and listen to the advice here, it works if you want it.
Unlike quitting products, total adherence to a personal commitment to not violate the law of addiction provides a 100% guarantee of success. Although obedience may not always be easy, the law is clear, concise and simple - no nicotine today, not one puff, dip or chew!

Welcome in, bro. This is the right place, now... do this the right way.

A couple words that we don't deal with here are "try, hope, luck" etc. At KTC we "Do". Plain and simple. Don't hope this is the end, brother... make it so. Make that decision and own it. Get yourself up to the Welcome Center and learn what Quit Groups are and what posting roll is all about. If you get involved and stay involved... freedom is yours for the taking.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.
