I just came across this: http://www.killthecan.org/heres-how-you ... court-now/

It's a good introduction to our site.

Hello my name is Jacob i am 25 i have been using smokeless Tobacco for 10years started while playing baseball my freshman year in high school. longest i have quit since i started was 3 months when i went to boot camp for the Marines in 2009 and have said i was going to quit alot since then but never stuck with it because i felt like i was being made to quit my wife telling me she wants me to quit and just getting mad about it so idk i just couldnt stick with it or it was to hard deployments being away i have found all the reasons not to quit. But the day before March 1st 2016 i put in my last dip in and my mind is made up im done for good no reason why i cant this time i want to be here for a while for my wife and my unborn kids. and so far it hasnt been that bad but i have my times where i want to put in a dip but i stop my self. i have gone through alot of gum and sun flower seeds lol.
I do have questions ik your mouth goes through alot of changes after you quit but is it normal for you teeth to hurt and stuff like that what should i expect in the coming weeks? thank you for all your help.
Hi Jacob. Welcome, and congrats on making it this far by yourself. I'm 45 days quit, my jaw ached on and off until last week. It feels pretty good now. Your body is healing itself. Also, my dentist said that the nicotine was probably covering up aches that had been there for a long time.

As far as what to expect during the upcoming weeks, it would be best for you to join this site, and experience your quit with others who are at about the same point in their quit, and others who have been exactly where you are.

Do that by finding your quit group, which is Pre HOF June 2016 here in the KTC forums. June signifies the month that you will be 100 days quit. In that thread there will be instructions for posting roll. Posting roll is our daily promise to stay quit for that day. We post roll every single day. We quit every day for just that day, stay nicotine free all day, then quit again the next day. We quit one day at a time.

You've already figured out one of the most important parts of your quit - you can't do it for your wife or for your family. You have to do it for you. That way when thing get tough, which they will, you won't resent anyone who "made you quit". Just come here and rail against your brothers and sisters in quit. We can handle it.

Get involved here, and stay quit my friend.
