Hello, I have been dipping for the past 4 years and have come across this site. I have always viewed dipping as something that I can look forward to throughout my day and as something that I enjoyed, however the fact of the matter is that the only thing I am really looking forward to is relieving myself of the withdrawal symptoms that dip creates.

I understand that dip does nothing for me, and it is an addiction that I cannot hide from my family/friends forever. Because of this, I have made the decision to quit. I will admit that throughout the past few months I have attempted to quit several times... and I will also admit that I never made it past day 1. That is why I am here.

Why have I failed in the past? Well "one last dip" has been happening for a few months now, and tomorrow never comes. I hope this site offers the support an accountability that will lead to my success, though I understand that in the end only I can quit for myself.
Welcome aboard.

Brotherhood + accountability = success

Accountability... Get your name on roll call today and every day first thing when you wake up. It is your promise to yourself and a whole lot people fighting the same fight in the same shoes that you are that for today, and only today, you will be nicotine free. If you are a man of your word - and you clearly are - you will stay clean after posting your promise. Remember, this is your top priority for the day. Before running to the bathroom, making breakfast, ANYTHING, you post your promise.

Brotherhood takes a little time to understand here, but essentially others reach out to help. You build a network of people to count on and that count on you. And it all just works.

You are in the right place, at the right time. If I can help or if you need a text number - shoot me a pm. Proud to quit with you today sir.
One more thing... You failed in the past because you have never quit before. This is different. This time you quit. The formula I laid out for you has a 100% chance of success. Post your promise. Keep your word. Win.
Do what that ^^^^^ badass quitter said! If you do you cannot fail! Just remember to keep your word! I quit with you today my friend!
Nice roll post. Welcome. You will never regret quitting.
And holy shit what an epic user name. You have to honor it!

I like you're attitude and you seem way ahead of the curve on "getting it."

You realize it's an ADDICTION. So many talk about their habits.

You realize the only thing dipping does is keep withdrawals at bay. So many talk about "stress relief."

And dammit if that last bit isn't reminiscent of "questions and answers" we put on folks who cave after they post roll here . . "Why have I failed in the past?"

You're off to a great start.
