Hey Guys,

Scott here.  I've mauled over KillTheCan for about a week.  I like the strong atmosphere and bonds displayed all over.

I know it's going to be tough to quit.. thus why I joined.

I literally just threw my tub of snuff and spit bottle away about 4 hours ago.

This will not be my first time trying quitting, but hoping it'll be the last time.

Cheers,

-Scott
Scott - there is lots of great info on this site. Start reading and following the advice. I'm a Day 29 quiter of 30 years of kodiak. You can do it, but have a plan and post everyday. If you need a contact, PM me. Start reading some of the other introductions, find the the prayer and the contract. Also - don't approach this with the "hoping it's my last", cause then it won't be. Remeber if you want to be done, then you can't ever have "1 more dip". Get seeds and fake stuff and be a quiter! Welcome to the site, now go post and promise for today - I will not chew.
Scott...great decision. Best advice I can give you is to be an active quittter. I and many of the Vets will tell you that those members that are posting regularly and commenting, helping others and sharing how their quit is going are the ones that are much more likely to succeed. Staying active keeps your quit foremost in your mind. Glad to have you join us.
sdot, we don't try around here, you either grow a big set and quit or don't. If you are going to quit, give it everything you got and quit. You need to get rid of the words try and might, those do not work around here.
A promise not kept is the road to exile.

If quitting is cool, consider me Myles Davis.

Unless you bring value onto my 1/2 acre, I don't want to hear it.

Congrats on the GREAT decision! It sounds like you are familiar with posting roll and the message board if you have been looking at it for a week. PM me if you need ANYTHING!
