Go post roll and get all the support you need.
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Theres a lot of people that come here, especially vets, that WANT to be reminded that they are addicts.-Tarpon 6/12

Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise.-Scowick 2/13

Here and now, focused on today, minute by minute, whatever it takes, I promise to all my bros and myself not to become a negative stat and stay quit!-krok 1/15

I want everyone to be quit. Even the assholes.-Probe1957 1/18

Ignoring history or erasing history fixes nothing and leads you inevitably down the same path.-69franx 04/30/2021

Welcome to the party !! Best decision you have made in quite some time. WP has you going in the right direction. Make sure you understand what roll call is before you put your name on it. It is the cornerstone of what we do here.

If you just dumped your cans in the trash I suggest rounding up all your garbage and taking it to a dumpster somewhere so you cannot get back at it. I have scraped together a dip out of the "thrown away" cans before.

Make sure all your stash cans are gone. When that is done get some seeds, gum, candy etc to keep yourself occupied. Then start drinking water, it will help flush your system. When you think you have had enough water drink more.

While you are doing all of that make sure to hit the HOF speeches and read them all... then go to the Words of Wisdom area and read all of that. Then pick a quit group in front of you and read it from the first post. It will give you a good idea of what is coming.

This CAN be done !! Thousands of us prove it daily. Post your promise daily and keep your word. You will be quit.....

Greg

It does get easier.

It gets waaaay easier.

But what you are going through currently is what we call "The Suck". The suck will knock you down and beat you senseless if you let it. It will try to make you go running back to that evil drug, and never leave it behind again.

It only lasts a few days. That's the suck's dirty little secret. It's a short period of pain for a lifetime of freedom.

Your job is to remember how bad this sucks and never, ever, ever have to do it again. Remember how bad this makes you feel because if you always remember, you will never use again.

We post roll here to track our days and remind ourselves every morning how bad it was. I am on day 188 now, and I remember it with a shudder. I never want to relive it again.

Go to the top of this page and find the black banner. On the left hand side of the screen, you should see a pink "WELCOME CENTER". Click on that and read each point and how to post roll.

Happy quitting!

Message me by clicking on my name if you need anything else!
