Welcome pbear! You can do this man. We've all been there. Today is going to suck, not going to lie. Tomorrow will be a little better. Day 3 will be a little better than that.

Just take it 1 hour, 1 minute at a time if you have to. Reach out. Write. Scream FUCK at the computer screen all you need to. We've all done it.

After 16 year of dipping, I'm on Day 16 and today I quite with you. We can do this!

Thanks everyone. It sucks already, but I'm chugging water and I've got this beef jerky in a can stuff. I am going to do this. I appreciate the support.
Please read up on how to post roll. It's our promise to be nicotine free for 24 hours, and it works.

Hello all. This is Day 1 for me. I woke up this morning, and decided I am sick of saying "next month" or "next year". I have been dipping regularly for 8 years. First I said I would quit after highschool, then college. The time is now. I am sure I have quite a rough road ahead of me, but I look forward to all of your support. Thank you All!
Nice, man. Welcome to the freakshow. I'll show you to your table. Today, you'll be dining with the fine quitters of May 2015. We have reserved seating here, but don't worry. Those guys there are in the same boat you are. They're white knuckling through the fog just like you are (will be).

I'm wastepanel. Today, I'm quit 1307 days. It sounds like a large number but it's not. We both walk the same path today. We both have to go the same distance. My quit muscles are just used to the journey at this point. The path will probably have a few obstacles on it, but there is no excuse for going back on your promise. Simply put one foot in front of the other and take it slowly. Watch your step.

If you aren't familiar with our program, read up about it HERE. We promise not to use nicotine today, and we hold each other accountable. Through our brotherhood, we keep each other quit. You can do this, and you prop and will prop up others along the way. I do it, and it's not because I have to. I want to. Helping others makes my quit stronger.

Drink tons of water today. Exercise, and prepare. Have supplies (such as seeds, gums, herbal snuff) on hand and ready at all times. Plan your day. Know your weak points. Know when you'll soar. Then, throw all that out the door and deal with the situations as they present themselves. The point is that nicotine is not necessary to your life. Never again for any reason.
It can be done. Collect a few phone numbers, read this all, set goals and quit one day at a time. That's the advice I got 31 days ago and haven't looked back. Drink water. They say if you can walk past a bathroom without HAVING to stop to piss in it, you aren't drinking enough. Don't take it lightly, you have 8 years to undo. I quit with you today.
Quit: 7-23-17 at 8:30am.....after a cave
