I was told about this website , and am very ready to quit , and cant do it on my own? Ive been through alot since july of last year , and kinda still using some of that as an excuse , i really hope that the support and information from this site will help me get the job done starting tommorow.

thats awesome i feel the same way i made apromise to my kids long ago and now its time to quit not just for them , but me too

What kind of "promise" do you imagine it was if you're still using? Your kids may not be old enough to know when someone is breaking a promise, but so far you haven't quit, and if I understand correctly, you told your kids you would.

You won't find the slightest bit of tolerance for that here. The one thing we insist on from everyone here is a daily commitment not to use nicotine in any form that day.

We have support for people who ARE quit. Not interested in junkies who "will quit".

Welcome to the site. The first few days are absolute hell but as much as it sucks the end result is worth it.

BTW, never "hope" anything when quitting. It is not about hope but about the decision to quit. If you wake up, make the decision to not use the shit for any reason then why would there be any hope involved?

Post roll in your group every morning when you make the decision and make it a binding decision.

Hey, I am on day 2. Come join a brother in the December group.

Look, I had "tomorrow" plans 300+ days in a row and they never happened. But two days ago, I woke up, got in the car, took a dip and then said "What the F@#% am I doing?" It has sucked and I am miserable. I am not the one to come to and ask if it is worth it yet. I just know I am quit and want others to join me.
