Dhorse,

You gotta get over to January 2010 and post up man. I'm on day 7! Wouldn't be on day 2 were it not for the accountability and encouragement. Stop watching from the sidelines and get in the quittin game.

I'm new to the site, am a little confused and have been reading all of the posts and trying to figure out what I need to do. I have forked dip in my mouth for 15 years and have had enough. Into the second day with out and am just wanting to make it to 3. My mouth is raw from all of the seeds, and my jaw sore from all of the gum.
Hi Dhorse, and welcome. We're all here for you. Use us as much as you need.

Your note about being on day 2 and just wanting to make it to day 3 is really at the heart of this whole thing. It's how we make everything work here, one day at a time. I'm sure it's tough to recognize it in this moment, but you're on exactly the right track.

I'm on my 29th day. I promised my brothers and sisters I wouldn't use nicotine today. They all did the same for me and each other. And we all deal with tomorrow when it gets here. The guy on his 1000th day does it exactly the same way.

We're glad you're here, and to the last quitter, we all know exactly what you're going through. Give us your word, every day, not to use nicotine, and stick by it, and we'll help you in any way we can.
