I just read where Jason will not be posting roll anymore because the only time he thinks about dipping is when he posts roll. I guess he doesn't want to think about the brotherhood he formed either. I see a planned quit here big time.
Yeah that seems about right after 1 month I only thought about dip once a day, when posting roll!!! What a joke. You're a wrestler Jason...dig fucking deep and get after this. Thumblewort is right, you are planning to quit, and you are taking away your accountability.

Thank you all for the support. It has helped me in strides today. I'll be back on later. Thank you all for the welcoming. Ill be forever grateful.
You coming here and posting roll makes my quit stronger, so I am grateful to you today. We both do this one day at a time (ODAAT), there is no forever in the KTC. When the craves hit, it's one minute at a time brother.
It's funny how this site does that....Everyone posting messages to you is also taking something from you that helps with their quits. I too used dip way back in the day to cut weight (for me it was to play a different position in football). I hate to say this but I still get craves after I eat, and I'm a year plus quit. So know that you are going to have your hardest times after a meal, so make sure you always have gum, seeds, fake dip, whatever on hand as you are eating. Take your addiction seriously, and you will be a serious quitter. Also you may be the first guy who has written about getting craves while SHOPPING? What up with that?

Hello,

My name is Jason. I started using Copenhagen when I was 16, Im 25 now, first with my older team mates for fun then to help me cut weight when making weight for wrestling. It helped control my hunger and I could loose some lbs. by spitting. I was on and off chew till the addiction got me when I was 21 years old. The last 4 years I've been 1-2 cans of long cut or extra long cut, mixing some snuff in too. My teeth are yellow, my mouth health is horrible. My gums would bleed every day. Even tho I brushed flossed and mouth washed twice a day. I love cope, the smell and taste are amazing butI was not getting a "buzz" any more. I proudly say I have not taken a dip in over 7days and do not plan on it. I still get massive head aches. I have anextiety, feels like my stomachs in my throat. I still have flu like symptoms, hot and cold flashes, nausea. The worst part is the oral fixation. It truly is horrible. The habbit of puttin one in after a meal or b4 i go shopping. I miss it more than anything but not more than living. I will succeed. I will be a champion today.
Stay strong, Jason. The nic bitch will continue to whisper in your ear about how much you love Cope and how much quitting sucks. But the nic bitch won't help you with chemo for mouth cancer.
the habit is an addiction first of all

This is a mental battle as much as physical - pound water till you can't pass the head w/o pissing then drink some more
Run your ass off - go to the gym - do sprints up and down the block - SWEAT the toxins out  also good for combating nic rage
Get into CHAT - exchange some numbers - meet some quitters .... if you want to plan lone wolf w your quit you will fail

Posting roll is how it works here in the KTC, I post roll and promise my brothers and sisters I am nic free for 24 hours. It may seem strange at first, but after 95 days of no nicotine, I couldn't imagine not making this daily promise. Join us, it works.
Jason, Stay stong. Nicotine additition is a bitch. Withdrawal is a bitch. It's important to remember how shitty you feel in the first hours, days and weeks of your quit. Never go back to that place. I hate dip because of the addiction it created - both mentally and physically. It really screws people up.

Create new routines after a meal or before shopping or whatever triggered a crave in the past. Stay close to this site and get involved with your quit group. There are thousands of quitters here who are succeeding so stick around.
Jason I want to pile on here to say that quitting is hard! But as you start stacking up days you will begin to see glimpses of how great your newfound freedom will be! I used for 26 years until 227 days ago. If I can do this, you can too! You will never regret this decision. Welcome!

Hey man you're in the right place. I like you thought I "loved" Copenhagen. It wasn't uncommon for me to go through 2 cans a day. I'm 21 and was almost a decade long dipper. Read everything you can on here man, nothing good comes from tobacco, learn from these guys that have come before us. If you utilize KTC it will make your quit so much easier because of all the support you have. When you struggle come on here and read. And if you have to use a fake dip to help you get through but don't let it lead you back to the real thing. You got this man. I'm committing to quitting with you today and every day because quitting is winning.
The Copenhagen can will no longer control this man because being a quitter means becoming a winner

Post roll every day. And hate cope, don't love it. Hopefully you'll see how fucked up that is to love something that kills you.

Welcome aboard! Don't forget to post roll. That's your word you won't use nicotine. WE TAKE THAT SHIT VERY SERIOUSLY.
