Hi all. I've been a 1/2 can to a can of Kodiak user for the past 27 years. I've been struggling for the past 5 years with this addiction but I just can't seem to get over the hump. So, today, I've decided to actually do something about it. This is day one. Fortunately I was busy at work and was unable to get away for a quick dip. One problem is that my wife works 2nd shift and we have a 3 yr. old and I basically chew from the time I get off at 4 til the time she gets home at 11pm. I have no energy and I am consumed with the fact that I will get cancer and it really brings me down mentally. Just quickly reading some of the posts has already helped me. Thanks everyone
JD, I've got a little one at home and my default was the same as yours. It's tough for a few days but you'll get through it. Our kids deserve better than addicts for Dads. Hang tough, shoot me a pm and I'll give you my digits so if you get a crave we can chat.

Your in the Pre HOF June group. Find it and post your promise not to use nicotine every day. Spend time reading everything you can and get active in your group. This site will absolutely help you stay quit. Everyone here can relate to your struggles. Your first decision to join was easy. They successively get harder and more confusing. Your quit today, be proud.
