Welcome to KTC! Please read as much as you can here. There is a wealth of information, vets and newbies here to help. Reach out and get as many numbers as possible. I sounds weird, I know...but, it DOES help. I'm a bit of an introvert myself, but this group has helped me tremendously and it can help you as well. It gets better buddy, I promise.

Warmaster,

Congrats on finding your way here. Lean on your fellow November quitters, get their digits and text and ask questions in the forums. Tons of Vets here who have been quit for a long time and have seen it all before. I'm on day 28 but already can say it gets better. The first week is going to be hell but everyone here gets exactly what youre going thru. Post that promise early every morning and keep your word. After that, everyone here is with you.

Congratulations WarMaster, this is the first step to regaining your freedom. I'm not going to lie to you, your journey ahead of you will be hard, but with the help of your group and this site it gets much easier. Buy into this site's community, it works.

Today is my quit day, too. Started weaning down the last week or so, but realized I was just leaving room for myself to not quit. In my mid 20s and started chewing in high school, time to grow up and kick it. Had my last chew last night. Let's get it!
Nice! Hop on over to the November 2018 group and post your Day 1. ItÂ’s a promise to not use any nicotine today, and we start all over the next morning. One day at a time.

Today is my quit day. I've smoked and chewed for half my life and I'm fed up with this shit. Still figuring things out on this site, if anyone could let me know what group I join it would be appreciated. Thanks, and see you all around.
Welcome man! Im only on day 2, but prior to this last mess up I was off it for 10 years after dipping for 20years. I thought I would neever be able to do it and then I did. I can tell you that once you get through the beginning it gets easy to the point where you really never think about it again. Unfortunately for me I let my guard down and thought I was not an addict anymore. So now Im back to the beginning. Just want to let you know it is awesome if you stick with it. Life is so much better.
