It can't be said enough, quit now once and for all. There are so many quitters here that chewed longer than you have been alive or most of your life - me for 17 years for example. What I wouldn't do to get back the $30,000+, the chicks that blew me off, the stained clothes and teeth, etc....... Do it now man.
^^follow that advice. I am happy to see some young folks in here. Listen to the experienced quitters and try not to buck too hard on them or what they are saying. Reach out for support and you will be amazed at what happens.
There are no circumstances in which using nicotine will improve the outcome.

My journey. The best part it is not over yet.

Thanks!!!! Nervous as frick but I know Im in the right place. I will definitely do that! I posted roll for today, hopefully in the right spot. Like I said Im still figuring out how to do forums :)
You will never regret this decision. You're smart doing it now. Don't poison yourself for 19 years like I did.

posting roll early and DAILY will be the key to your success. You won't understand why right away but it will click eventually and all make sense, so do not take roll lightly.
Will do! Thank you all so much, the stories, the people, everyone here is amazing. See you all tomorrow

Okay, so honestly I've never EVER used a forum. Still figuring this out so forgive me if I'm breaking rules or not following ettiquete here.
Been dipping for about 7 months now, it all started in Mexico in April, right after I got a career job and things in life figured out. Couldn't have been a worse time to get addicted to crap like this. I have dipped about a can a day for those seven months. Longest quit was 11 days, justified starting again because I'm young (18) and can do what I want. Bullcrap. Friggen bullcrap. No one knows I dip except like three co-workers. Family is completely clueless and heaven help me if they find out. I know everyone here doesn't believe what I believe but I know you guys respect it. I need to take care of my body as part of religion and friggen common sense man, come on! I knew better. Tried quitting several times, even tried registering on this site several times but it didn't work. Well thank God it worked today. I am so excited and scared to death. I was going to quit tomorrow but I've said that so many times. Flushed my last can, shaking like crazy and ready to go into this full speed and never dip again. I'm grateful for any help, wisdom, prayers, advice, and bitchslappings you all have to offer. Bring it.

And I got to hand it to you guys, I've been reading this site for a long time, seen many of you who have been addicted longer than I have and succesfully quit. You are some of the most inspiring badasses out there, 5000 rounds of applause to you guys

SO here we go. Done dipping for the rest of my life. No more "No one is perfect" crap and "cold turkey never works" excuses. If you guys who have done it longer and more intense than I have can do, i have no excuse.

I am so frikking done.
Hey welcome aboard! Congrats on a great decision. One big key here is posting roll. Head to the quit group section and post roll with Jan 2014. You'll hit the HOF in January provided you stay quit. I know you can do it. Just win today. Now get over there and post roll.

Make sure you read the welcome center too. He'll, read everything on here. It works.

Welcome aboard and congrats again on a great decision.
