Tyr - Haven't seen you post roll in 2vdays. Should be day 19. Believe you may be the guy from August who is in Germany. You still quit?

Edit: See that you had a proxy post roll, thx.

Appreciate all the kind words and advice. I have figured out roll and am committed to posting daily. On Day 3 and things are going well, focused on the goal. Going to go to the gym and move some iron around, will be back on the website later today. Glad to have found this website.

Tyr
Good job Tyr!
Keep it simple brother...ODAAT. (one day at a time).
Chat it up, read up daily, get digits from your quit brothers.
Stay focused, stay quit.
Post roll,
keep your word all day,
Wake and repeat and your quit days will stack up faster than you ever dreamed.
Life is sooooooo much better on this side.
Cheers.
Keeping my jaw and tongue...I like them.

New to the website. Been quit for about 6hours. I've been dipping about a tin a day for a good 8 years or so now. I did some meditating the past few days and this morning to prepare, I feel like I have committed to the suck that the next few days are going to bring. Also have stocked up on some Smokey Mountain, plan to do enough pushups to challenge a Viking going berserk and will be watching the Stanley Cup playoffs tonight for distraction. While I plan to own the f*** out of this quit, any guidance/wisdom/advice would be much appreciated.

My $.02:

POST ROLL EVERY MORNING (DO NOT SKIP/MISS THAT), NO EXCUSES.

MESSAGE OTHER QUITTERS IN YOUR QUIT GROUP AND GET SOME PHONE #S. MAKE SOME FRIENDS.

Sorry for the all caps (channeling my inner WCW).
It's easy. Post roll and promise not to use. Then don't use.

Make some friends. Reach out to your quit group. Participate. Read everything.

Do all these things and you will be free.

See...it's that easy

PB
This is all you have to do. Sounds easy, right? Posting roll is easy, the quit is not. But if you have made the decision to be quit and read and do everything this site says, you will be quit. Now, quit on! I'll quit with you!

Tyr, all of the other quitters stole my thunder, just do what they said, quit like fuck, and I will QLF with you today as well.
Ditto. The great quitters above have told you what you need. You can do anything for a few minutes so when it gets tough just focus on now. Reach out if you need help. Send me a PM.
Breath deep and remember that the craving will pass with or without nic.
You can do this if I can.
Quit with you!
Hey nic 'Finger'
You are smarter then most.... You came here! Over 15000 have gone before you here and proven that posting role every day and honoring your word is a guaranteed way to be quit! No one will force you to put a dip of chew in. Count every hour as a victory because it is. It will suck for a bit, longer then 3 days in fact. But one day SOON you will realize it is good and doesnt suck anymore. Its hard to see that day where you are now. So focus on now! You are quit! Be proud of that! Read the welcome center and learn how to post roll. It is the foundation of this site! Quit on bro!
You're well on the path to freedom. Follow the "recipe" set forth before you. Post roll EDD (every damn day). That's your promise to stay nic free for the day. You're a man of your word, right? I might add that once you get over the initial suck, check out other forums on here. Go into Wildcard and connect with other quitters who have the same interests or hobbies as you. For example, I'm an Eagle Scout. I discovered other scouts and Eagle Scouts who are quitters like myself. Just immerse yourself in this site. I'm on day 74 and there is no turning back at this point! Proud to quit w/you today!
Quitters I've met in person : Keddy, boelker62, Big Brother Jack, baitbanjo, SirDerek, Chewie, Scowick65, theo3wood, mcarmo44, MonsterEMT, Bronc, dforbes, rocketman, Lance from SD, kdip, wastepanel, quitspit, basshaug, greenspidy, 30yrAddict, btdogboy, cmark, chrisTKE1982, Jeffro Dolfie, Clampy, carlh2o, JGlav, ReWire, Chewrouski_Philly, Sranger999, walterwhite, DWEIRICK, spit cup, FranPro, ericfluck

  • Interests: I'm married to a beautiful lady. I like to lift weights and run. I play poker and win. I spend as much time riding as I can! I go to work every day and work too many hrs. I'm aggressive! And all of this makes me happy. I'm here to quit the one thing I hate about myself, my addiction to chew. It has ruled me and I wont be controlled anymore!
