You can do this H46. This place works and I am living proof. 559 days ago there is no way I could see myself quitting for a year and a half, but I did it. I did it by quitting one day at a time and by diving in head first to everything KTC had to offer. I'd tried to quit on my own before and I'd tried to quit half-assed for this reason or that. When I first got here I jumped in with both feet because if this place didn't work, I didn't think I'd be able to ever quit. It worked.

Congrats on making a great choice today. Freedom awaits, you can do this.
"Fuck nicotine dude. You don't need it. And you don't want it. It didn't do a thing for you and you know it." - worktowin
"today you dissided that shit wont control your life. and it wont. unless you let it." - drome
"Not thinking about nicotine is for people who've never used nicotine. We threw that option away with the first dip or drag on a cigarette. We are addicts, and cannot become un-addicted." - wildirish317
"You need to decide how much you really want to be quit." - pky1520
We are always at risk. And probably always will be. That is why I will never get "too quit" to post my +1. Every. Damn. Day. - geis2597

Jump in with both feet and save your life. It works!

Great to see that you started an Intro Harn. You have a week under your belt, have been posting regularly and it seems that you know that you are not alone in this fight. We can do this one day at a time brother!
Don't be afraid.  You are not alone.

I started this nasty habit almost 20 years ago as a way to stop smoking that sounds so crazy now. I have hit some major low points through my journey I almost lost my wife and kids multiple times because of my addiction and the lies that came after failed attempt after failed attempt. I was pretty skilled at my ninja dipping until I would finally get caught and then the process would just repeat. A few years ago my wife finally gave up on me quitting and I think she felt like I would never be able to do it.

This is my first REAL attempt to quit for ME for MY future! I feel more determined then in the past instead of thinking of ways to justify a little cheat or find a reason to just say fuck it! This time its different. I just told my wife yesterday that I was quit. She just nodded her head like oh that's nice lol I don't blame her soooo much bullshit I have spewed at her over the years. I am glad to have stumbled across KTC and am looking forward to going through this with others who will have my back and I hope I can help those who stand in need as well.
