I wish I had been smart enought to stop at 19. As Cubs says it does not get any better with age. Make this THE quit.

Hey guys,
Fairly new to the site, and the whole getting into a community about quitting or what-not. I don't usually do this. I'm 19, started chewing about 4-5 years ago. I'm sick of it. It's expensive, and I don't feel like shaving years off of my life just for some nicotine. I want to do this cold turkey. I want to throw this down. So, I'm sure some support would be nice. Thanks for listening.

19 is a great time to quit.
It would be great to have millions more young Quitters like yourself. I'm 24, so young by this places standards. Consider yourself lucky that you are even considering Quiting at such a young age. I will warn you though, the odds are stacked against us my friend. It has been my goal to work with young guns around here and many of them just don't make it. Not trying to dishearten you, but it's reality. A reality so bleak that the chance of you making a 2nd post on this site is slim.

Keep your head up. If I can do it, ANYONE can. Day 272 here friend.

Hit me up if you need anything....that is, if you return.

I finally tossed the can for good at the age of 26. You are wise to follow through at 19 because that addiction does not get better with age.
IT GETS EASIER!!

Hi TJ,

Have you stopped yet? And if so what was the day?
You've come to the right place to make it happen, but we don't dick around in here. This is life and death shit going on.
Read as much as you can on this site, it's an eye opening experience. Learn how to post roll, it's the most important thing we do here. Your Quit group will be May 2011, go introduce yourself.
