This place can be your home away from home as long as the internet lines keep open.

Welcome aboard and keep in the loop. Post up in April.

Inthebox - you got a lot of brothers and sisters here that will help you at any given time. Stress is gonna be a big thing - keep the stress from reaching your lips. the nic bitch doesn't care who she seduces or what the reason you let her seduce you. Stay strong friend.

Nice work! Truth be told, no one else on the planet chews gum. The few thousand people that are quitting at any given moment are the reason Wrigleys is in business.
This website and it's members saved my life. I will be forever thankful to a bunch of strangers with big hearts, foul mouths and legit motivation.

Day 7
« on: February 04, 2009, 08:22:00 AM »
Hi all, I found this site a few days ago, had seen it advertised a few times over the past few months, but due to the nature of the internet out here, haven't been able to post until now. As I write this I am 7 days completely tobacco and nicotine free. I started dipping about 8 years ago during National Guard drill weekends. I brought the habit with me to active duty, where it was much more accepted. I've tried to quit 3 or 4 times in the past, but around day 3 or so I would always give in. I decided to use my return to Iraq to quit, and its working pretty well. This time I used nicotine gum for about 3 weeks, dropping from a 4 mg dose to a 2 mg dose. Now it's been 7 days since I have used the gum or any other tobacco or nicotine product, and I'm feeling good (although I probably should have invested in wrigley stock with as much normal gum as I'm chewing.
