Hey everyone!
My name is Keelan, or you could just call me by my username ManOfBing. I am a collegiate baseball player from PA who is currently persuing a Bachelors in Business Administration and Management. The plan is to eventually get my masters, marry my high school sweetheart, and live a long happy life. Im currently only 2 days in, it has not been too bad so far. Cravings here and their but i manage. I know it only gets easier every day and im glad i found this site. Already met some wonderful guys through the chat. (which helped me register and make this thread)
I started chewing a little over a year ago, during our spring training trip to florida. Unfortuantely i suffered a knee injury which sidelined me this year. Being the athelete i am, i wanted to find a way to make myself better and the one thing i noticed was my dipping habit. So i have decided to start my quit and make sure that i stay quit FOREVER! Well thats all i can think off the top of my head right now. See you around guys!
Time to get it after it, kid!

Every single person here will tell you that they wish they could have quit at your age.
Every. Single. Person
This is an amazing decision. Stick around and get involved - you will not regret it.
Good for you for making this decision at such a young age and still early into a dipping career.
A few words of caution though, don't necessarily expect it get easier everyday. It does get easier over time, but there are a lot of ups and downs. Lots of folks get discouraged when they find that the struggle takes much longer than expected.
Additionally, it's an addiction, not a habit. If you had been using Meth every day for a year, no one would be calling it a habit. The distinction might seem trivial, but you need to know that you're facing an addiction if you're going to beat it.
Don't worry about forever, focus on whats directly in front of you. Just quit today.
Welcome to KTC - quit on!
