Great decision. Posting your Jt and a day 1 in April will feel good as Worktowin points out. Putting your Jt and Day 2 in April will feel better.

Drink lots of water, exercise, read more of the Words of Wisdom and Hall of Fame speeches here. You might want to get hard candy or (nicotine free) gum or fake chew to ease craves for a while. (Don't worry, you will not want these so much later on).

Reach out to your group, or on CHAT... especially aim any quit rage here and not at your family (we can take it). Takes a while, but it will get better.

I quit with you today.

Hi my name is JT. It is really late, I appologoize if things get random, but it is time to speak my mind. I just came across this website, my wife asked me to set a date for quitting, I've done this a handful of times but have never made it past a few days, hours, even minutes. I told her New Year's Eve would be my last day. Fate, has a weird way of working. I wasn't even looking to quit, nor had any intention of following through with what I told my wife. Yet, here I am, after reading articles from this site, and posts from all of you. I flushed my remaining tins and more than ever want to never put the nasty stuff in my mouth. I will be in the April quit month group. The reason I put help on the topic line is because I might need one or a few or many of your support for these first few days. I seriously am afraid of the withdrawals and symptom stage but I need to fight this awful addiction. Good night. Pm me, or however you want to communicate please let me know. Take care, thanks for reading
Good morning sir. You have just made one of the best decisions of your life.

My name is Michael, and I'm an addict. Joining Ktc and following the plan here allows me to win every day at something that I lost at daily for 9,000 days. If you follow the plan, you'll win too.

Brotherhood (making contacts/sending texts/building a team of fellow quitters) + accountability (posting roll every day in your April group as soon as your eyes open ) = success!

I see that you posted something in April. Go back and type your name and "day 1". It will feel so liberating. And it lifts a weight off your shoulders. Because today, unlike the attempts you've made in the past, you quit. Putting your name down means, as a man of your word, today is in the books.

My number is in your pm. Ill watch for a text from you today. And today I quit with you. You can do this.
