Hey Kris – I don’t see your roll post in November, this is absolutely critical. All we have here is our word, as men and women in a semi-anonymous forum, our word is our lifeblood. That said, maybe you haven’t read the “WELCOME CENTER”, the pink link in the upper left, or maybe you posted and got bumped. Either way, make sure you read everything there, from start to finish. It tells you why we post roll and how to do it. I’m glad to be quit with you today and look forward to seeing your roll post this morning.

Denny
I actually saw Kris post day one on yesterdays roll call around 2:00 am.

Kris you should post rollcall today as well. If you quit yesterday, that was day 1 and today would be day 2.

Proud to quit with you.

Kris:

I echo all of the feelings below. This place is phenomenal and WILL work to help you quit if you embrace it. Like Denny said, post roll every morning and keep your word. Shout out if you need help figuring that out. I'm 27 days clean after 21 years of use and feeling GREAT!! Twenty-seven days ago I was where you are, feeling like there is no way I could ever rid myself of this addiction - and here I sit, almost a month later and clean - YOU too will be there if you embrace this.

Kris,

Congrats on the right decision. I dipped the poisonhegan for many a years without ever a hope of breaking the chains, this is the first time I've been a success. Post roll, take this site seriously, and put your faith in the decision that you are done with nicotine. These first few days will be a nightmare, but when I felt my worst I still felt better than chemotherapy does. I am now on day 11, the fog is lifted, the headaches are gone. It gets better, it really does. Glad to be quit with you today!

Kris. Congratulations on your decision to choose freedom over slavery. You are in for some tough times. Freedom must be earned. But the journey is well worth it. The key is to post roll everyday, to get involved with your group, read everything here, support other quitters and to reach out when the going gets tough. Glad to be quit with you today.

Kris,

Welcome to KTC. This is the best nicotine addiction support site around. Good choice to quit. I quit 118 days ago and my three sons were also my inspiration. In addition to your kids inspiring your quit, remember to primarily quit for YOU.

Quit:
To regain YOUR self respect and freedom nicotine
To regain YOUR health from a cancerous substance which will put you in a casket
To remove the constant nicotine withdrawal from YOUR body
To not be on YOUR death bed early with Emma and Clay looking down at you wondering why!

YOU continue this list---it is YOUR list.

Post roll with November and make your promise every day---simple as that!

We support YOU!

Like many of you I've quit dipping thousands of times, I've been trying to quit almost as long as I've chewed. If I could go back and add up the $'s i've wasted in thrown out partial cans of cope I'd have a good start on my kids college savings, not to mention the cost spent on 2 cans a week for 16 plus years. 3 years dealing with GI issues which I know is directly related to cope and I know that now is the time for me to quit for good. I've taken my last dip and flushed away my last can. I will succeed this time for myself and for Emma and Clay.
