Congratulations on your quit. Roll call and this site is key, none chewers and none quitters don't get it.
I stopped posting on this site and failed. But never again.
PM for cell phone number and support,
Charles

Yep, roll call is the key. Some growing bad asses are sprouting up in November, join them and never look back.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Welcome aboard! The first thing you should do is go over to the November Quit Group and post roll. Do this first thing each day. It's your promise to yourself and everyone here that you will not use nicotine today. In turn, it is our promise to you that we will not use nicotine, either. That's the foundation of accountability that we build here.

The next few days and weeks are going to be rough. Prepare yourself with plenty of gum, candy, water, etc to keep your mouth busy. Keep your mind busy by reading anything and everything you can on this site. Soak it up and truly absorb it.

You need to start reaching out and get digits from other members of the November Quit Group as well as other vets. Texting with these people is going to be a crucial component in your daily battle to stay quit.

Finally, you need to get involved on this site and stay involved. Too many people think they can waltz in, post roll whenever they feel like it, and then check out. You're not going to build any kind of brotherhood doing that and the accountability goes down to nil as a result.

You got this today.

Today is day 1 of my mission to quit chewing. I am extremely thankful for this site and these groups. I literally just signed up 2 minutes ago and am very excited about my journey. I wanted to introduce myself to this group, I started chewing in college when I was 20 and have been chewing a can a day pretty much from the start. That all stopped yesterday. I know this will be a lot easier with everyone here, stay strong and keep fighting!
X2^ welcome aboard and to your fresh new life of freedom.
