You don't actually want a can of Cope. What you want is to alleviate the symptoms of your withdrawal. Plain and simple, it's what happens to us all. Fight through that, realize you're stronger than this addiction, and stay quit.

Or, pay attention and shoot something. That'll make you forget about nic for a while.
Listen to Radman, he just gave you the straight shit. You are still in physical withdrawl, its going to suck.
Distract yourself however you can, txt a pal or hit yourself in the nuts every 10 minutes if necessary...

n of cope
I bet you had better luck without the shit in your lip while in a deer stand. Animals (including wives/girlfriends) can smell that shit from far distances.

Welcome!

I feel odd giving advice since I am only on day 17, but I can honestly say that I'd still be using if I didn't 1) post roll every day and stick to my pledge to not use TODAY, 2) get contacts - send a text saying you're ok or you're craving - it doesn't matter - just stay in contact and be honest to yourself and your quit bros, and 3) tell youself that you have a life to live, people who need/love you, and those are not possible with a nic habit.

Digits in a PM coming your way.

Welcome and congratulations on quitting. It is the best thing you could do for yourself. The triggers just like sethj13 talked about are a real pain in the ass but they do get better with time. Just take it one day at a time and post roll early every morning and read all you can. Their is some great advice to be had here. If you need anything just pm me. I'm always available

Sitting in the stand, in the blind, after a great meal, etc. Everybody hears what you are saying: things that your mind identifies with nicotine. It's true and we've been there. Let me tell you based on experience and not bullshit, nicotine does nothing for you. The deer stand is just how you left it, even better perhaps because you aren't worrying about how many cans you need, and which pocket to carry your spit bottle in.

The air is fresher, the sky is more blue, and the reason you are there is to hunt. Not to dip. You can dip anywhere if you decide you want to be a slave from now on. Hope to see your name on the roll tomorrow.

Welcome to KTC. Go to the welcome center and read up about how this program works. Post roll in the Feb 2013 quit group each day. Its a promise to us and yourself that you won't use nicotine for that day. We live here 1 day at a time. You can too.

Post here on your introduction as you journal your quit as often as you want. Feel free to rage here too.

I understand about chewing and hunting but chew never made you a better hunter, never made you shoot straighter or more patient. Cope only rotted away your teeth and gums while you sat in a tree.

Shoot straight and stay quit.

Enough is enough. Time to take control back from the nic bitch. My HOF speechGR8WHITEBUFFALO
