I'll be damned. I can live without the brown shit. 6 days in and I am still here. My head didn't explode and I didn't gnaw the drywall or claw my eyes out. It sucks but I am still here dip-ity-do-da and I don't need you!
Watch out for the the olé nic bitch she's awful sneaky! Stay focused and strong! Damn proud to be quit with you my brother! ODAAT! EDD!
That is correct. Nic is not necessary. Just evil.

Gotta say that was a loooong day. Kept looking at the clock. Still I made it with no chew! Went through the house and threw out all my stashes and empties that might've had a bit left. Gotta get some sleep! Tired but wired!
Hey b,
Get you some fakes stuff, seeds, gum, candy something to help subside the oral fixation! You got this man up, sucks for a while but it's worth every damn second! Proud to be quit with you my brother! ODAAT! EDD!
Yep, its brutal in the beginning. It should be. You want the memory of it to make you never want to go through this again. hang in there Beagler, it gets better. I cant tell you exactly when, but it will. In the meantime, buckle up and stay active here. And for Gods sake just continue making that daily promise ODAAT!

Congrats on Day 1 Beagler!!! Choosing your freedom is an awesome accomplishment and first step. I like how you said "...I want to kiss when they get married someday..." Do this quit for YOU! Get psyched up for this 3 or 4 day suck. I remember how pissed I was at myself for continuing to dip all those years. I've got a daughter too, so right there with you. Read my signature and click that link. Read that whole story of Tom and Jenny Kern.

FLUSH all forms of Nicotine you have!! Look in you coat pockets, glove box, hiding spots, etc. Flush em all down the toilet, even them patches.

If you read on this site you'll learn we're all about brotherhood and accountability. All you have to do is Post Roll, Keep Your Word, and Repeat every damn day!!

Get to know your quit brothers and sisters, exchange phone numbers with some. YOU GOT THIS. Reach out if you need anything.
Tomorrow marks the 9 year anniversary of you being gone. I can't believe all that has happened since you have been gone, 3 of the 4 have graduated high school, 2 of the 4 graduated college, 1 had a baby, we all have jobs, we all got our licenses. I honestly never thought I would make it this far. I so wish that you could be here with me, Alexa, Connor, and Tori. Seeing all of the things we have accomlished...and everything that we still have yet to accomplish. Graduating high school, moving in at college, graduating college, having kids, buying a house, baseball games, first jobs, first girlfriends/boyfriends. I know that you are proud of each and everyone of us, but I/we need to hear it from you. We want you to be here to tell us "Nice pitch", "Congratulations on graduating", "Have I told you I loved you yet today?" (which Kenra and I try to do everyday now :)) It is sometimes just hard to get through the day. And to think...all this over a stupid dip...who would have thought?

Kenzi Kern (from 06/11/2013, 9 years after her father died from this horrible addiction)

First of all let me say quitting isn't as much fun as starting was when 20 some years ago. I have tried patches and gum. Both just keep enough nicotine in me to want more dip. This is my cold turkey drop. Got 2 girls I want to kiss when they get married some day. That means I have to keep my jaw! No choice...HAVE TO QUIT!
Welcome beagler! Good job at posting roll. Roll is the key. EVERYDAY. Read as much as you can here, make some friends to help keep you accountable. I dipped 2 cans a day for 26 years. If an idiot like me can do this, you certainly can. You just have learn to hate the nicotine lie and want to be free bad enough. Lots of support here for you if you are active.
Be strong for you and those little girls!
