It's 1:50 am here on the east coast and I'm an hour and 50 minutes into day 7 of my quit. I'm motivated and feeling good after 15+ years on the crap, but man would I love to get some sleep! I'm a former Marine that picked that nasty habit up in my early teens. At my peak, I was dipping two cans a day. Over the last few months I scaled back to about half a can a day until I kicked it completely on October 9th. So far so good...haven't experienced anything out of the ordinary and the days are getting better. I know it's a long journey, but this certainly isn't the toughest thing I've had to deal with and I'm not looking back. The wife and I have our first baby coming in April, so that adds to my motivation.
Hope to get to know some of you all on this journey and look forward to being a bona fide quitter!
