Missed ya on roll yesterday. Couldn't even text it in to another in the group?

Are you serious about quitting?

1. I turned 18. Buddy I used to dip with had recently turned 18 as well. He told me I needed to go to the store and get my first legal can and have a dip with him. I started right back where I left off and ran away from the site like a bitch. Never came back until today. It IS my 16th day and I'm very committed.
You need some new friends or you need to sack up and own this.

2. I was weak and caught up in the idea of being legal. I was stupid and gave in to everything I was running from.
This IS weak... So you were caught up in the idea of it's legal to buy the poison that going to kill you, so you went to go to buy some some. Dood...

3. I'm going to stay committed and remember exactly why I quit. I can't let up not even one day, not one time or I will fall back into exactly what I did before.
Why don't you tell us all in a little more depth "exactly why you quit" BTW. You are definitely right that you cannot let up... ever. Not 1 day from now, 1 month from now, or even one decade from now. You are an addict and if you ever put that crap in your mouth again... doesn't matter when, you are hosed and right back on the trail to an early grave.

^^ Is this like the shortest cliff notes version of the 3 Q/As ever ? I'm just not feeling the seriousness here or in anything you've posted so far. I mean you initial intro post was in the ball park, but you lasted what, less that 24 hours? So

I may be a young dipper but I am already hopelessly addicted.
Seems like there is some good and bad here. 1) You're calling yourself an addict in a round about way, which all of us here are. 2) This isn't hopeless. We conquer this addiction one day at a time by posting roll and honoring our word.

I think my 18th birthday will be a very, very hard day in my quit, seeing that I will finally be able to legally buy dip.
Sounds like you totally set yourself up for a cave here?

I'm freaking rooting for you Graham.

I really am.

I wish I'd have made the effort to quit at your age instead of 30 years down the road. Here's the deal. You need to treat this with all the seriousness of life and death, because that's what it is. Fix your attitude and come post roll every day. Do it early in the day, when you first crawl out of bed. (before noon) Take enough time when posting to make sure you aren't bumping your brothers off the roll. It's doable. It just takes a your dedication and persistence. I've got your back if you've got mine.
^^^Agree completely with spitstickler. We will all have your back if you have ours. Glad to see you posted roll today. Now keep your promise, and repeat tomorrow. (And dont bump so many guys tomorrow, just make sure you quote the most recent roll when you post)

Yeah man. Welcome. Punkin about covered it. He's right, when you feel the cravings comin' on hard, get on here. That's what I'm doing right now.

Celebrate your birthday by buying a lottery ticket or something, fuck dip. How badass is it going to be when you finish your birthday clean, knowing you could have easily bought a can but you didn't.... you were strong enough to quit. That's a birthday gift to yourself man.
Quit now man and save yourself a whole lot of hassle and money. Nicotine is a killer. Dipping is an addiction. It's the same as drugs or cigarettes. don't kid yourself. I'm quit for 13 days after a 25 year addiction. don't make my mistakes stop now.

Young brother... Welcome to KTC. Put everything you have into this right now. It'll save your life and this quit of yours will be epic! Get yourself up to the Welcome Center link at the top of the page. It will tell you how and why we do things here. Read every bit of it then... Read it again. Keep this site close to you for awhile. I'll gladly help you in any way I can. PM me and I'll give you my cell number. I'll help keep you on track bro...
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

Welcome to the nic killers. I wish that I had quit at your age, I would have saved a shit ton of money. Congrats on being 5 days quit. That is huge. First off, get you vocabulary straight. You didn't "quit" for two weeks, you took a break from dipping for 2 weeks. Quitting would imply that you never picked up a can again.

My advice to you is read everything on this site that you can. Post roll with the nic killers early and keep your word all day. We quit one day at a time here. When you feel a craving coming on, get on here and read. Use fake dip, seeds exercise or whatever it takes to remain nic free

You get out of this site what you put into it. There's tons of badass quitters on here so don't be afraid to ask questions. Good luck and welcome aboard

If your gonna be dumb you gotta be tough

Are you gonna quit dipping, or are you gonna slide your tampon in?

Day 5 - Last time I never dip again
« on: October 20, 2013, 09:51:00 PM »
Hey guys.
My name is Graham Sizemore. I am 17 (as of 10,23/2013, currently over 18 - Edit Mjollnir) years old, and I will be 18 this Wednesday (October 23rd). I've been dipping for about two years now, and for the last 6 to 8 months I have dipped about a can a day. I have decided many many times before to quit dipping, and a couple times I've found my way on to this site but never actually joined or posted. It has been 5 days since my last dip (Tuesday, October 15th). I may be a young dipper but I am already hopelessly addicted. I almost caved today and even drove to the store, but I bought I bottle of water instead of my usual grizzly wintergreen longcut. I'm happy I made it through today, and proud I didn't call it quits like I have so many times in the past. The longest I've made it in a quit was probably about two weeks. I'm looking forward to talking to you all and hopefully becoming friends with my fellow January 2014 quit group members. Also, if you have any tips about using the site or tools to help me quit please let me know, this website is pretty damn confusing for a newbie. I think my 18th birthday will be a very, very hard day in my quit, seeing that I will finally be able to legally buy dip. I am confident, however, that I can push through that unique milestone.

gsizemore95 -- 16 first day posting
Hey brother, what happened to Oct last year? topic/1010717/1/#post2389291
Sizeless....

Spitstickler's absolutely right....ain't no way in hell you're gonna waltz in here at the end of a day (supposedly 16) and "grace us with your presence".

You obviously have been here before, so you should be familiar with the rules...In your OLD Group (the one in which you WOULD HAVE hit 100 days) AND in this group (Sultans of September 2014) you will answer the three questions.

1. What happened?
2. Why did it happen?
3. What are you going to do differently to make sure it doesn't happen again?

Think long and hard on your responses....the Sultans can smell bullshit a LONG way off. IF you don't care enough to put some thought, heart, and soul into your answers, why should we care enough to accept you and agree to hold your sorry ass accountable?

And with the answer you just gave him....you can keep friggin' walking....

1. I turned 18. Buddy I used to dip with had recently turned 18 as well. He told me I needed to go to the store and get my first legal can and have a dip with him. I started right back where I left off and ran away from the site like a bitch. Never came back until today. It IS my 16th day and I'm very committed.
2. I was weak and caught up in the idea of being legal. I was stupid and gave in to everything I was running from.
3. I'm going to stay committed and remember exactly why I quit. I can't let up not even one day, not one time or I will fall back into exactly what I did before.

You're right it was a sorry half assed response I gave him, and apologize.
