Well day 11 and the cravings are killing me today. God all I can think of is caving and taking just one. Amazing how the brain can play tricks and tell you, you can take just one. Just one is all we need and we will toss the can right after that.

I am quit and will never give in but this is driving me nuts. The worst part is being at work and not being able to get out and hit the qym or anything for the next 4 hours. Fuck this nic bitch sucks royal ass today!!!! I am sorry but AHHHHHHHH the fucking sucks right now!

I know this is the place to bitch as you guys all know what I am dealing with and feeling. So thanks for the support and helping to keep me strong.

Rough math...if Jesus was a dipper he'd be about 734,244 days quit since his crucifixion.

So well into day 3 and feeling strong. Thanks all for the killer support I am a quitter and this is my life coming back.

God the urge to kill someone is a bitch let alone the urge to give in. But not going to happen, got my seeds, gum, and butterscotch candy. HA oh ya I will be strong today and everyday.

I really want to take the time and thank you all for the support. Like most I have tried and failed to quit so many times that my support at home is null and void. The wife has basically gotten to the point where she does not think I will ever quit and stick with it that is just frustrating in itself. But hey we quit for ourselves and no one else right.

Nothing wrong with a ramblin man, just stay quit. Do it. It's going to suck. Serious Dick. Do it. Post Roll as 9reasons described. Suffer. You're saving your life by a brief inconvenience.

Reading this site and fingering your way through the many levels it has to throw at you helped me a shitload the first 3, 4, 5 days. And it continues to help me today.

Welcome Josh great choice and glad to have you along on the quit journey. Don't worry about the writing, if it was graded they'd have thrown me out already.

Hi Josh. Welcome. You are in good company; ramble all you want. Talking about your quit helps you to focus on it, and that will help to pull you through.

The key to our quit is roll call. That's your daily promise to quit. Keep your word each day and come back tomorrow. Not easy - but Simple.

1. Stagger your way through the fog to the The class of July 2011

2. Find the latest Rollcall post

3. Press the Quote button - you will see two boxes (the top one will be empty)

4. Move the contents of the bottom box into the top box (the bottom box should now be empty)

5. Add yourself to the Rollcall portion like this:

trey.miller- Day 6 mouth is on fire and headaches have kicked in
josh007 - Day 2 - this is driving me nuts

6. Preview your post to make sure you've done it right, and then add your reply.

No doubt the first few days are pure hell! You are braver than I was, I quit when I had a long weekend with no work and my wife was out of town. I laid on my couch and cut off all human contact so I wouldn't get annoyed by anyone or anything. There are a lot of ups and downs early on, and I am still fighting them. I am on day 12 since I quit and I am just now getting hit with the bad fog and haze that makes it hard to work. Let me tell you, this site is a life saver. I have gotten so many ideas on ways to help and what to expect from here, we have to be each other support b/c I have learned as much as my wife is there to support, she has no clue what we are going through. Hang in there brother, we can all do it!
I was quit yesterday, I am quit today, and I will be quit tomorrow.

Day 2 and glad I find the site
« on: March 30, 2011, 11:47:00 AM »
Well good morning and so glad I found this site. Almost done with day 2 and I know you all can agree with me this is driving me nuts. A little about myself, my name is Josh and I have been chewing for 22 years. Man when I look back and think I have been controlled by this stuff for that long it so had to give it up. But I want my life back. One day at a time I know but this is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. From what I have been reading I think I have found a good home to help with this. I do apologize if I ramble a bit the feeling of being in a fog just makes it very difficult to think.

Anyway thanks for reading my post and for the help.

Josh
