Welcome exredsealer,
I also use a fair bit of fake dip, mostly jake's mint chew lately. Some people frown on it as it can make you want the real thing even more. Personally, I find it helps a lot cuz at least then you have something in your lip.

I've got to think you because I completely forgot about all the heartburns I used to get. Thanks for reminding me of one more reason why I quit in the first place.

If you need anything pm me.
Nothing wrong with putting anything in your mouth to quit as long as it doesn't have nicotine. Il quit with you today and everyday. Pm me if you need anything.

Howdy ex. Great choice and glad to hear you've come to understand the value of the tools offered through this community.

What are the smokeless alternatives you speak of? Herbal? All good things. Just no NRT.

Day 2 New Quitter
« on: June 08, 2013, 10:43:00 PM »
I first registered on KTC website january of last year and never posted or got serious about quitting.

Couple of weeks ago I found the website again and even remembered my user name and now I see why roll call, forums, and the other tools are important.

I'm tired of being dependent on something that is so small and tired of the heartburn/ feeling like crap all the time and yet still getting dips.

I am currently on day 2 and feel like I have a beer buzz minus the having fun part.

The smokeless alternatives have been helping more than I thought they would and just got through ordering some more today.

I have been putting my name on the Sept 13 roll call which I was excited to put my name down this morning for day 2.

Have been dipping for 14 years and took my last one 6/6/13.
