I would like to form a support group to ensure i stay on track, if anyone would be up for that please contact me and we will work together to stay clean of dip.
That's what KTC is, so you don't have to form a support group, but have to quit first. Then go through the nicotine withdrawal the guys here call the funk. Read the site, other intros, welcome center, and start posting roll. Don't take your decision lightly, its rough going especially the first few days. Keep posting here, and say good by to nicotine. You can't promise this forever, you and I and all the men and women here are addicts. So we make the promise just one day at a time. Get going!

Welcome Tyler,

What a great decision you've made. It is truly life changing, obviously for the better.

You have come to the right place. We all have your back, hit me up with a PM if I can help at all.

GREAT CHOICE!!! Pills, patches, gum are for people who aren't serious about quitting. Cold turkey is the only way to go. You've gotten great advice so far...Evil covered what you need to know. Now it's up to you.

You've taken the first step...let us help you with the rest. PM if you need anything. But it really comes down to posting roll, reading everything you can and living free one day at a time.

Welcome on the greatest decision ever, quitting. No need to form another support group. We are oneÂ…16,000 members strong.

Post Roll: Why? How?
Every day you log into your “Group”, a bunch of guys all quitting together and going through the same suck, fog, cravings, etc. You “Post Roll”; add your name and the number of days quit that you are. This is your promise, a pledge to your quit brothers and sisters, to yourself, and to everyone else here on KTC to not use nicotine in any way, shape, or form, for the next 24 hours. Keep your promise. A man is nothing if his word is no good.

Get Involved:
Read: Introductions and HOF Speeches. Read the banter in other groups. Read the non-dip discussions in the Wilcard section when you want to get away from thoughts of dip. By doing this you will realize that you are not alone in the feeling you are having. You will gain strength through others. And, you will get to know these people on a personal level, which adds accountability.

Send out a few PMs:
Send out a PM to someone in your group, or to someone that posted something that you related to. Offer your phone number. I bet you will get a phone number in return. Store those numbers in your phone and USE THEM in a moment of weakness. Sending a text out has prevented me from caving more than a few times. Sometimes I didn’t even need a response, just taking a few seconds to text was all it took to get me thinking straight again. Other times the response I got was, “you do NOT have permission to cave”, which I took to heart.

Every tool you need to QUIT and remain QUIT is here, for free, but you have to want it. No one can quit for you, but we can offer support whenever you need it.
"Dunno about you HP, but LOOT doesn't like getting assfucked, by anyone....and certainly won't chalk it up to 'shit happens'."

Hello my name is Tyler,
I have been chewing about a can a day for 6 years now and am really working hard to make sure this quit date stays. I have tried all sorts of products and methods of quitting but this time I am going at it without any nicotine replacement products. I would like to form a support group to ensure i stay on track, if anyone would be up for that please contact me and we will work together to stay clean of dip.
Welcome aboard Tyler, quitting isn't for the weak but with the help from the brotherhood we quit one day at a time (ODAAT). Posting roll and keeping your word is the key to success.
