Welcome. I combined your intros into one, we like to keep this area clean like that.

Congrats on the best decision you will ever make. If you need anything give me a shout.
The problem is not the problem.  The problem is your attitude about the problem.  Do you understand?

I started chewing leaf in 1974. I quit in 1984 to 1986 still chewing leaf. My wife started to complain so I quit again in 1990. A friend introduced me to Copenhagen and I quickly figured out I could hide this in my chew cheeks easily. I easily swallowed the spit and always had a dip in and nobody knew. As of 3 days ago I was happy as can be. I was searching the web for a cheaper dip, Copenhagen is $5 /can, I found KTC! At first I kind of laughed at it, but by the end of the day I was on the web site reading stories, posts, and stats. It inspired me to finally quit this nasty addiction for good. I am on day 3 yesterday was tough, today I feel good so far. Thanks to KTC and all you who share your hearts and stories.
well done on the decision,
but for now keep the thoughts in the present and never look too far ahead...what I mean is when you say "quit this nasty addiction for good" rephrase that to "quit this nasty addiction for today" - then wake tomorrow and say that same both to the mirror and to your quit group here.

it is a mindset, and once make the decision to quit, you can quit.

side by side with you today....

I started chewing Redman in 1974. I have quit many times once for 4 years. Copenhagen became my choice in 1992 when chew became taboo. I can hide dip. I really want to rid myself of dip and the time is now.

Keep in mind that youÂ’ve never quit before, only stopped for a while. We Quit once.
